Meanwhile in Susie's apartment, Susie laid on her bed unable to fall asleep. She twisted and turned in her bed for a long time. On this day, two years ago, her life became living hell. Her father brought a woman in their house. He was completely drunk. The woman took control of her life, and everything became worse day by day. She didn't know what to do. She was lost. Thinking all of these, her eyes teared. She forcefully controlled her tears from falling, because she promised herself that she won't be weak anymore. Lisa gave her a new life. She ought to enjoy this second chance in life and regarding that scumbag, she won't waste anymore of her time or tears. A resolute look passed through her eyes and she promised herself to work harder.

Max was working tirelessly with the help of Ed and managed to find the surveillance footage but did not manage to find the identity of the person who could induce so much fear in Lisa. The only clue was the person with whom Lisa collided. But the face could not be seen in the footage. He did not know what to do. After instructing the others, he went off to sleep because, he too, was tired after the day's matters.

Sophie woke up from her sleep and was startled to find herself in new surroundings as the last thing she remembered was sleeping in Jose's car. When her gaze adjusted, she remembered that this was her room in their bungalow. She got up, dressed up and got her car keys and went straight to the garage. She took out her car and set off to that place. While driving she found herself on a crossroad and stopped her car at the roadside to think about the crossroads in her life. Although there are many choices, she has to take up the hardest roads, the most bumpy roads and then survive. Maybe, after going through these hardships, one day she will get rewarded by God. This much faith she had on God. Maybe, this is all a part of God's bigger plan. All that happens in life is for our own good. This was Sophie's thought. She started her car again and drove towards her destination.

Once she alighted from her car, a sturdy man came to escort her inside.

'Sir is waiting for you inside.'

'Thanks. Please lead the way.'

She entered only to find four persons sitting in front of each other.

'Take a seat, Soph. Or may we call you Liz now?', the tall man in front said with a snicker.

'Whatever.'

'We knew that you would come. Why so early though?', said the lady in red.

'Hey, let her settle first. Later continue your questioning.', the lady in white said.

'Oh please, stop taking her side all the time.', the lady in red said.

Although they were bickering with each other, they were all very concerned about Lisa. These gentlemen and ladies are Sophie's friends, all very well known in their respective fields. They are pissed at Sophie because she did not meet them earlier albeit knowing that they were in the same town.
