Interrogation

"You're going to get married?"

"Mmm hmm."

"You sure?"

"Mmm."

Listening to his brother interrogating him, he felt as if he was younger than him. He shook his head at the thought.

He knew why Oliver was acting like that. He had enough reasons to do so. But his mother asked him to marry Lily and he needed to do that soon.

"Bro, are you entirely sure that you want to marry that bitch?", the last part he muttered to himself, but with Robert's great listening skills, he heard him perfectly. His mouth twitched and he feigned a stern tone, "She is your sister-in-law."

"I don't accept it."

"Why don't you accept it? You know very well what she has done. When will you understand?"

"What should I understand? What nonsense are you spouting?"

"Bro, I can't believe it's you who is saying these things!"

Robert gave him a side eye and did not bother to respond to his nonsense anymore. But he was not contented and continued shooting his mouth off about that bitch, Oh sorry, his brother's fiancee.

Robert was having a headache listening to his brother rambling about how that woman was not suitable for him. His face was now as black as a coal. He could not tell him that he was just pretending. This was all a part of a plan, or the blabbermouth will certainly expose it.

But now, he could not take his ramble anymore. He pulled him to the side, peered through the door to see if anyone was nearby or not. He stretched his long legs and shut the door with it. Then, he whispered to Oliver very slowly and carefully, "This marriage is fake."

"What?", Oliver whisper-yelled back.

Robert remained silent. His eyes seemed to say that, 'Do you think I'm in a mood to joke?'

Oliver searched for a glass of water nearby. When he found it on the nearest table, he took it and gulped the whole glass of water at one go. Still, he couldn't calm down.

"But, bro, I still don't understand."

"You don't have to understand. Just wait for a good show in the coming days."

"What do you mean?"

"He he.", his deep laughter echoed through the room, and Oliver had goosebumps upon hearing them. He could not imagine the fate of the person who invoked this monster's wrath.

'Someone is going to be in deep trouble.', he thought and rubbed his arms to get rid of the goosebumps caused by his brother's chilly laughter.

He glanced at his brother who looked like he could kill someone then and there.

"Cough cough.", he cleared his throat.

"Bro, calm down. You are frightening me."

"Huh? Were you saying something?", Robert finally looked at him and asked.

"No. Absolutely not. I said nothing.", Oliver was acting like a scared rabbit and shook his head repeatedly like a rattledrum.

At Destiny(1):

Sophie was sound asleep in her bedroom unaware of the storm brewing, which may turn their lives upside down. All the old men and her friends were gathered in the living room and were discussing measures of hiding the explosive news from Sophie.

"I think we should tell her.", Natalie disagreed with their suggestion of hiding the news from her. She knew Sophie well enough to tell that, she would absolutely get to know of the matter even if they did not tell her. She has a wide range of connections with people. They weren't even aware of their identities, but they unanimously chose to follow Sophie and they responds to her commands only. Nothing could hide from their eyes and ears.

"I agree with Nat.", C agreed with Natalie as he knew his sis too well to know that nothing could escape from her intel. It was better to tell her than hide it from her.

"Boy, what nonsense? Why are you agreeing to such a stupid suggestion?", Grandpa Tan scolded him harshly.
