WE MEET AGAIN

"Ren?" Amari muttered as soon as she stepped out of the house with Nathan's mother to see a crow standing right there on the door porch, looking up at them.

"That's right, I was way over my head, I didn't even think about how the crow Nathan and Mr Ethan would catch won't be Ren," Anari muttered, realizing her mistake as she squatted down to the crow's level and picked it up with one hand. It was indeed Ren. She could feel it.

"I didn't even think of that myself," Candy muttered.

"I should call them back, tell them we have the crow and that they should all just come over here where they will be safe," Candy added, fishing out her phone from her pocket and already placing the call as she spoke.

"Stephanie, come on, hurry up!" Stephen muttered as he passed by his sister's room from his, even reaching out to leave a sharp knock on her door.

Diane stepped out of her room which was the next room after Stephanie's, just as Stephen reached there.
