"You are Lilith?" Amari's voice came out as a surprised whisper. The woman's smile didn't falter. She nodded at Amari, and then started to move towards a lake, which was by one side of the garden. Amari followed her.
They got to the lake and as Lilith sat down by it, Amari followed, sitting beside her.
"Everything that has a beginning has an end too," Lilith started and Amari couldn't help but turn on the spot she was sitting on to face her. Lilith turned to face her almost at the same time.
"Nothing can exist forever. Nothing. Not a person. Nothing…" Lilith averted her gaze from Amari to look at the flowing waters ahead of them.
It was serene and peaceful. The atmosphere. The sound of the waters washing over itself was calming and soothing.
