"We are not here to fight. Come on, you are our kids. We love you, even you, Amari," Ethan broke the tensed silence, his gaze on his son.

"Look, it is a complicated situation. We should have passed the baton to your circle by now but…" Lydia was interrupted.

"The prophecy, we get it," Stephen said.

"Kara was able to convince us that if we work together with you instead of opposing you, we could actually figure out a way," Lydia continued.

"Really? Kara had to convince you? Isn't it common knowledge that two heads are better than one? So, much for being elders," Nick muttered, his tone as cold as his expression.

Amari passed Kara a quick glance the moment Lydia mentioned that she had convinced them. The blonde woman had no clear expression on her face and was even avoiding Amari's gaze.

"Let us just get to the point, do we get to be super squad now?" Stephanie asked, her lips curved to form a smirk.

"Super what?" Ethan knitted his eyebrows in confusion.
