IT WILL RAIN BLOOD

With a gasp, Amari felt herself stop floating in the air. She opened her eyes and saw that she was still in the same cell. But, the environment was no longer a dark maze and the gate of the cell was a bit rusty. One thing remained unchanged though, her shadow was still standing outside by the gate, staring at her, there was a curved smile playing in her face.

Amari touched the gate of the cell and discovered that there was no lock over it as there had been in the shadow world. She hummed, as a smile curved her lips, and then she stepped out and her shadow positioned herself to fight her.

"What the? You want to fight m…" the words were barely out of her mouth when her shadow attacked, so fast, she barely avoided her shadow's punch on her stomach, it brushed by her waist, making her nearly lose her footing.

"Why are we fighting? I don't understand!" Amari muttered, while dodging her shadow's attack again.
