CONFRONTATION

"You worry too much babe, relax," Nathan said as he moved towards her, reaching for both her hands, to hold them.

"I don't know Nathan. What if they find out something they shouldn't?" Amari asked.

"Come on Amari, no one is going to find out anything," Nathan paused and continued almost immediately as he released one of her hands, his hand reaching out to caress her face.

"You heard Mia, it would just seem like I sneaked up your window," he said.

"But you didn't sneak up. You teleported here with magic," Amari pointed out and Nathan sighed, withdrawing his hand from her face.

One look into his eyes and Amari knew that he was starting to get upset. Oh no! she exclaimed internally. She hadn't meant to get him upset.

"Would you rather I not come? Because I can leave right away!" Nathan spoke through gritted teeth.
