The Aroma of Flower.

It took Lynn a while to relax. She couldn't get what she saw out of her head. She didn't know why strange things kept popping into her head, the first time was in the classroom and now this. One thing was for sure... they weren't her memories.

Noel kept asking if they should head to a hospital but Lynn didn't think that was necessary. The color had flown back to her face and she felt much more relaxed. Now she was craving something sweet.

"Hey, I'm gonna run over to the store real quick, want me to get you something?" Lynn asked as she got up.

"Nah I'm good." She replied and eyed Lynn before adding "I'll come with you. I don't want you passing out behind my back"

Lynn rolled her eyes playfully "C'mon now. It's your turn soon."

She said referring to Noel getting her hair done next.

"It's fine. The store is close by. We'll be back before she's done. Let's go." With that, she linked arms with Lynn and they walked out.

Getting to the store, Lynn picked up a lot of snacks and Noel stared at her.

"Don't tell me you plan to eat all this in one go?"

"Of course not," Lynn said defensively but Noel knew she was just breathing out lies. She shook her head as she watched Lynn walk down the section for more. She was about to follow suit when a chocolate box caught her eye.

"Oh, I remember this one!" She said excitedly as she reached for the box. She remembered eating it once and she loved it. She decided to get it as she knew the boys at home would love it.

Lynn looked back to see Noel distanced from her, she seemed too engrossed in what she had in her hand to even notice the boys leering at her from behind. She saw one more person walk over to them and she recognized him. He was Sky, from her dance academy. She wondered if he was with them but was utterly shocked when one of the boys grabbed him by the shoulder and shoved him right at Noel who hit her head hard on the shelf.

"Ah!"

"What the hell?" Lynn said and hurried over to them.

Noel crouched as she held her forehead in pain.

"Oh no, I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" Sky panicked as he bent over next to her.

"Do I look okay?!" Noel shot at him but was surprised when another hand reached out and pushed Sky out of the way as his head came into contact with the shelf.

"Hey, why the hell you trynna feel her up? The hell man."

"What?" Noel's head perked up and she glared at Sky who looked the most confused.

"What? N-no I swear I wasn't. It was an accident." He waved his hand defensively as he held the back of his head. Noel wanted to fume out at him but she couldn't, not when he looked so scared and innocent. Anyone passing by would think she was the one bullying him.

"Quit trying to lie your way out, we saw you." The boy grabbed Sky by his collar and raised his fist but Noel jumped in.

"Hey hey hey! What do you think you're doing, let him go!" She said as the boy looked at her with a confused look. "Let him go before I get security."

"Hey, we're only trying to help, the hell?" The other boy said with a sly look and Noel knew something was off.

"It just means she isn't falling for baby tricks. Like seriously is that the best you've got? Even my dog can do better." Lynn chipped in and he let go of sky's collar.

"Who are you?" He asked and she ignored him as she looked at Noel's forehead.

"You okay?" She asked and Noel nodded.

"Still hurts, but it's fine."

Lynn glared at the two boys who looked like they were in high school. Wanting to rile them up, she asked.

"You two look like you're in middle school. Where are your parents?"

"We're in high school you dumbass."

"Don't you dare talk to her like that?" Noel stepped forward as she looked ready to fight.

"What are your gonna do about it?" He smirked and Lynn sighed. They weren't worth their time.

"Apologize." Lynn said "Apologize to her... And him also. I saw the trick you pulled, you pushed him deliberately and made her hit her head, so you have to apologize."

He stared back at Lynn for a moment and then moved closer to her. She didn't move an inch as she wasn't ready to back down for a coward like him. With his face only three inches away from hers, his eyes turned red.

A vampire.

He could see her eyes reflect his red and he knew he'd won. Staring right at her, he commanded.

"Apologize and get you and your friend out of my sight this instant." He said and the dead look in her eyes clarified his control over her. He drew back as his eyes went back to normal.

"Hey." She spoke and he stuck his hands in his pockets as he waited for his apology, but his smile faded off when she grabbed him by the collar and pulled him even closer to her face. Her glare was firm and fierce.

"Fuck you!" She growled softly and his shocked demeanor made her smile.

"Hey! What's going on over here?" The Security came over and Lynn let go of his collar.

"Let's go, Noel." She said and the two walked away, making their way to the counter.

"She sure is a feisty one, right Clark?" The other joked but Clark wasn't down for that as only he had just seen and felt what had happened. He watched Lynn disappear through the corner and he gritted his teeth. His vampire's instinct was strong, that's why he couldn't get the growls out of his head.

She's dangerous.

He looked back at Sky who kept rubbing the back of his head.

"Hey!" He yelled and Sky flinched. That's how it's supposed to be. He could feel his irritation increase as he remembered her cocky attitude. He kicked the cart "Get this to the counter and pay for it."

Sky hung his head low as he rolled the filled-up cart away.

"You go with him. I'm gonna check out something." Clark said to the other boy and turned to leave.

"Hey, where're you going? Hey Clark!" He called after him but Clark simply walked away.

"Can you believe the nerve of that guy? He's so annoying. He better be thankful you held me back, else he would've gone home without his teeth." Noel fumed as they walked back.

"I can't believe he actually thought such a childish plan would work," Lynn said also feeling pissed off. She didn't know what he had tried to do when he showed her his vampire side but he must've tried to scare her. She didn't know jerks like that still lurked around. 'Is it okay to show just anyone his vampire side?'

She paused as she suddenly remembered Simon's warning.

"What's wrong?" Noel asked at Lynn's abrupt stop.

She had totally forgotten. Simon had told her to run if she came across a vampire but she just had to go ahead and tell one to fuck off. She had let her distaste get the best of her, but he didn't do anything to them so she thought they were safe. She looked back to be sure he wasn't following them. With the coast clear, she let out a sigh.

"It's nothing." She said and looked back at Noel "Let's go."

The two kept walking and Lynn stopped again. This time, something else had caught her attention. It was the white-haired guy again. Her brow shot up questionably.

"What now?" Noel asked as she followed Lynn's stare.

"What's he doing here?" Lynn asked

"What do you mean?"

"He's supposed to be at the bus stop and that's in the opposite direction. Where's he going?" Lynn asked and Noel shrugged.

"Maybe he plans to get something from over there." She said and they watched him disappear into the corner.

"That's a dead end," Lynn said and in less than a minute, he came back out and started heading down the road. He made a turn at the next corner.

"Isn't that another dead end?" Noel said and he came out again and kept walking down the road.

"He's totally lost," Lynn said as she shook her head and she passed the bag in her hand over to Noel. "You go right ahead, Keesha wouldn't be happy if you keep her waiting. I'll just show him the way and head back."

"You don't even know him, he could just ask for directions," Noel said and Lynn's face wrung up.

"I don't think that's gonna help." She said, remembering the map he had. With that, she ran past the street as she heard Noel yell after her. She ran over to close the distance between them. She didn't know why she was sticking her nose where it didn't belong, usually, she would've just ignored it as she knew what Noel said was right.

...but at the moment, her body was moving before her mind.

She watched him turn to the next corner and when she caught up and made the turn, he was gone.

Her breathing was heavy, she looked around but couldn't sight the white hair or red hoody. She peeped through the first three shops but he wasn't there. She knew he couldn't have gone far in just a few seconds. She walked forward and looked at the street on the other side but still no sight of him. She let out a sigh as she felt a part of her feel disappointed.

She frowned at herself. Disappointed?

"What is wrong with me?" She muttered as she clutched her chest which felt tight. She didn't like the way her emotions had been going out of her control for the past few days, but she couldn't deny a part of her wanted to hang with him.

She turned to leave and immediately, her nose picked up a scent.

She stopped in her track as the smell felt familiar. She sniffed the air and the soothing aroma of flowers filled her inside. She tilted her head as she tried to remember where she'd smelt it. Suddenly, the white creature standing on her window sill.

The white wolf.

She started to walk back down the path she'd left as the scent drew her in. She made a turn on the next street and her legs took her inside an alley. The scent got stronger and she could feel her curiosity get the best of her. She couldn't believe she was trying to find a wolf despite her huge fear of them. She thought it was crazy...but she wanted to see the wolf one more time, then maybe snag a picture of it.

She stuck to the wall and slowly moved forward to avoid any form of being attacked. She stopped at the edge and peeked at the turn leading to the deeper part of the alley. But instead of seeing the white wolf, something red stood in her way. She looked up and her eyes met with blue eyes that couldn't hide their surprise.

"Oh! You're here!" She exclaimed excitedly as she wasn't expecting to see him hiding. "What are you doing here?"

His lids blinked in surprise as he couldn't get words to come out of his mouth. She wondered why he looked so shocked but she came here for a different reason. She came out and scanned the alley but the dead-end area didn't have a white wolf.

"Did you happen to see a white wolf around here?" She asked then muttered to herself "I thought it would be here."

"Why would you think that?" He finally said and his deep voice made her shudder.

Now it was her turn to blink.

"Ah-well..." She spoke as she broke out of his voice trance. "I guess I was mistaken."

She got a whiff of the smell again and her brows furrowed. It was coming from the person in front of her. Was she mistaken?

"Excuse me for a moment." She said and moved closer to him to get a closer smell.

It was him.

Now that she was closer to him, the smell thickened. She loved it, she could feel her head getting cleared up and her emotions falling into place. Something about his scent drew her in. She could feel something inside her about to connect...almost like-

"Uhh?" He spoke and her eyes flew open. She hadn't realized how close she'd gotten to him.

"Ah. Sorry." She said and raised her head.

His body loomed over her as he peered down at her with eyes as pure as the clear sky. She hadn't noticed how tall he was until now as their faces stood only inches away. She took in his exquisite facial features as she couldn't stop thinking of how dashing he looked.

She wasn't ready for his next action as his lips curved up, revealing the sweetest smile she'd ever seen.

"You're gonna stare a hole in me." He said and her heart skipped a beat.

He's hot.
