Aurora.

The howling sound of a wolf pierced through the night as shadows lingered around the dark alleys. Deep in the woods, under the faint crescent moonlight that lit up the gathering of wolves. Coming together in a circle, silently. Their bodies began to change shape as they all finally stood in their human form with the dominant alpha leader standing in their midst. Their worried faces as both gender present looked up to their alpha for his final decision. He sighed as his face hardened and he spoke up. His commanding tone filled with power pierced their heads.

"We get her tomorrow night. We have no time to stall any longer, the sooner we find our alpha king the faster we end this madness."

Looking around at the twenty of them gathered, their worried faces unhidden. He added

"If you wish to leave out if this plan step backward."

In less than a minute, steps were taken. The alpha sighed at the five volunteers he had left. He expected this as he was also aware of how insane and reckless the plan was, it could get the little of their race they're trying to keep alive dead, but he still wished he could get more volunteers.

"Alright then," he said to the five "we assemble here tomorrow evening. Things must go according to plan. Dismissed."

The gathering dispersed as someone walked up to the alpha and tapped him lightly on his shoulder.

"Dean you sure about this? It's the alpha's mate we're talking about here."

"I sure am. It's gonna work, but I do hope to see the end of it. The alpha's so not gonna be happy we messed with his mate." he sighed and added immediately "remember, treat her carefully. She must be brought here at all cost BUT CAREFULLY please."

Dean pleaded to Jason who is his brother and also one of the five volunteers.

"You don't have to tell me, I don't want to get my throat sliced through. Though we already crossed the line from the moment we had this idea in mind." Jason said seriously.

Dean knew this, but he was ready to do anything to get the alpha king to help them. He was ready to get his head cut off for that.

"Come on."

"Hmm." Lynn groaned as she shifted sleepily on the soft bed cover fabric. She smiled as she was about to go for another round of a blissful sleep when reality hit her.

Sleep? When did I fall asleep? My bed isn't as great as this?!

Her eyes shot open as the unfamiliar surrounding came in sight. She froze still as only her eyes wandered around in confusion. Her room wasn't this luxurious. She tried to remember what had happened last and it finally hit her. She had run to get something from the store and on her way back five people had cornered her. They had asked her to come with them but of course no one would hear that and just follow along quietly. She had tried to put up a fight but it ended with a blackout.

Now, she was sleeping peacefully on the soft peach scented duvet.

"Am I crazy or something?" She muttered to herself and shot up on the bed as she got a full view of the room painted in white. Her mouth fell open in disbelief. "I did get kidnapped...right?"

First off, the white canopy bed with a touch of gold was huge. It could take on seven people and there would still be space left for more. The craziest part was that it didn't take up quarter of the room. The furnitures on the other hand looked priceless. The white chest drawers with touches of gold. Two white chaise longue and a sofa- also with a touch of gold. The fireplace would've been any normal place if it wasn't also for the touch of gold. The table, the carpet, the chandelier. Everything had a touch of gold, some were even plain gold. She didn't want to think about the chance that they could be real gold. With everything in the room, it still didn't take up half of the room space.

"Where am I?" She asked herself and a hanged painting finally caught her eyes. The large frame, of course in gold, held the picture of a white wolf. It was the purest white she'd ever seen. Even purer than snow. The enchanting blue eyes which gave the portrait life sucked her in. The wolf had bared it's fangs and it looked ready to attack. As menacing and intimidating as it looked, she couldn't help but feel marvelled at the sight as a nostalgic feeling hit her. It almost brought her to tears.

"Huh?" She paused as she felt something warm fall down her cheek. Wait, is she actually in tears?! It was meant as a figure of speech!

A door fell open and her attention was shifted to the young girl with a caramel blond standing at the doorway. She was holding a tray with a jug and cup on it. Guess what...it was also gold.

"Ohmygosh you're awake!" she said with a frightened look that had Lynn thinking 'pretty sure it's the one who got kidnapped that should look that frightened'. The girl seemed to have noticed something 'cause the tray fell from her hand in her attempt to cup her hands over her mouth.

"Hey. Are you okay?" Lynn asked wondering what had made her react that way.

"D-dean? Dean! She's awake!!!" She literally screamed as she made her way out. Lynn sat still as a whole level of confusion hit her. "Dean you made her cry!!."

Lynn heard again "Ah, no hold on! I'm not crying."

She sighed as she couldn't wrap up what was going on in her mind. She really wasn't crying... But she also couldn't tell them a painting brought her to tears?

She sighed again as she rubbed off her tears that she couldn't explain. "Who was that anyway?"

It was morning. Her parents were probably worried sick. She got down from the bed and looked out the window. She drew back immediately as her eyes widened.

where on Earth were they?!

It was about eight blocks down to the ground, and they were surrounded by nothing but trees.

She was done relaxing. Now she needed answers.

She walked to the door and picked up the jug and the cup back on the tray. Strangely, knowing the fact that she was kidnapped and in an unfamiliar place didn't seem to have much effect on her for some reason. Rather than being scared, she was curious. She carried the tray along and stopped at the turn. There was a cart there and it had all her favorite desserts cut and decorated in beautiful shapes with different flavors. Cake, cookies, sweets, pudding, ice cream and chocolate. Would she call this a coincidence?

Her mouth watered as she swallowed hungrily. Her stomach growled as she faced a boss level temptation. She looked down the long corridor as no one was in sight.

"Just one won't hurt." she pursed her lips and reached for the cake. She took a bite and the cake melted in her mouth. She smiled in satisfaction as the cake tasted out of Earth. Taking another bite she wondered how the others tasted like. She looked down the long corridor, no one was approaching. Looking back at the cart that called out to her, she smiled mischievously as her sweet tooth got to her.

"Well. I might as well enjoy myself since I've been kidnapped. I'll get answers later."

She chuckled and rolled the cart back into the room. She set down the tray on the table and jumped on the bed with the cart in front of her.

"Which should I go with first?" She contemplated and finally reached for the ice cream. Taking a bite of everything sent her into utter bliss. It tasted better than the ones she could get at the stores she went to. She wished she could get kidnapped everyday.

She looked back at the painting. It's strange, she thought. She'd seen so many paintings in her surrounding but why was this so... Different.

What was more amazing was the fact that she had no feeling of discomfort or fear even with the situation of her fear of dogs. She couldn't explain why she was so scared of dogs. She'd never been attacked by one and there's been no other occurrence that could have caused it, but the fear was somehow engraved in her bones. Perhaps because this was a wolf, there is a difference between that and a dog right?

Though she's never been face to face with a real wolf so that was the only conclusion she could come up with.

She heard a knock on the door and immediately dropped the piece of chocolate she was holding back on the plate. She looked back at the guy who now stood at the door. She hadn't noticed him there. His eyes moved to the cart before looking back at her.

She paused her lips as she didn't know how to explain the situation. "Huh-this is..."

"Was any of that to your liking Aurora?" He asked

"Uh?" She said a little bit taken aback by the question "oh. Yes, it tastes lovely. And my name isn't Aurora. It's Lynn."

He simply smiled and she found herself relaxing once again. "Fay made them. She was so worried they may not be to your liking."

"No. It's actually really great! Strangely, this are all my favorite." she said excitedly

"That is such an honor. Fay would be glad to know that." he said as his next reaction made Lynn tip her head in confusion. He put his right hand on his chest and his left behind as he lowered his head in a bow.

Now that was a whole level of cringe for Lynn. She didn't know why he did that but all she could make out at the moment is that she had been assigned the wrong kidnappers. She recognized him as one of the people who cornered her on the street. Thinking back carefully, she remembered that they had actually asked for her to come with them. They hadn't tried to grab her forcefully but they did knock her out in the end. She was brought to a luxurious room and the windows had been left open, given a king's bed, he had even knocked! served desserts...more like she took them but still the point remained. They weren't bad people.

"Did you hear that?! She said she liked it!"

"Quiet Fay! She'll hear you."

Lynn could hear them whispering outside the door and she couldn't help but let out a little smile

One thing did disturb her at the moment.

"Why aren't you coming in?" She asked. He'd been outside the whole time like there was a line keeping him out.

"Ah, Please pay no mind to it Aurora. Just being in front of you has made me sign a contract of getting my head roll off my neck" he said and Lynn couldn't help but think of how he kept getting her name wrong. Were they mistaking her for someone else?

"I've been told I have a scary look but I'll just let you know I'm not a fan of watching heads roll." Lynn said with a little pout. She sighed as she finally got serious "Now let me ask you. What do you want from me?...I'm pretty sure it's not money."

"Your presence is all we need Aurora." Dean replied and looked out the window as he said with a serious tone "He should be here any minute now."

Lynn who couldn't relate to his words was about to open her mouth to ask further but then a loud voice echoed in her head. It sounded like a growl so loud and clear she felt a chill run down her spine.

Where are you?!

Immediately, everything made of glass in the room shattered. She closed her ears as the sudden burst surprised her. Her eyes widened at the strange event.

'what just happened? Who said that' she looked around the room searching fervently for someone. Who? She didn't know, but just those few words drew her to him.

The man standing at the door moved outward and she rushed out to know what was going on. She paused at the doorstep as her eyes widened. She had come out just in time to see Fay go down. Her body arched up as her bones seemed to shift inside her. Hair stuck out and finally, a ginger coloured wolf stood in front of the corridor along with three others as the guy stood in their midst.

She instinctively stepped away as her heart beat fastened at the sight of the much bigger dogs in front of her. Fear gripped her as she breathed out slowly to calm herself. She couldn't believe she was more scared of the wolves than the fact that a human had just morphed into one.

Guess there wasn't much difference after all, She thought.

She noticed they were all looking at one direction. Ahead.

"We have to get you out of here. It's too dangerous for you to be here any longer." he said and looked back at her.

"W-wait, what's going on. Who's coming?" She paused as she noticed someone standing at the end of the corridor. She could recognize that undercut anywhere. "Simon?-simon how did you find..."

It all happened too fast for her. All it took was a second. In one second, Simon closed the gap of a Thirty feet long corridor and grabbed Dean by the neck. He slammed Dean on the wall and a huge crack appeared. Lynn gasped in shock at the cracked as they couldn't look any less real.

For the first time since the beginning of high school. The Simon who had never taken a class serious, who would rather goof around and make lame jokes instead of taking his life seriously and quit being so carefree. Standing on the corridor as he glared down at Dean with his brown eyes now glowing red, he wasn't smiling.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" He growled.
