"I know, it doesn't matter, I have done it anyway"

He dismissed the matter casually, their orders were served, and minutes later, there was a commotion at the entrance of the eatery.

The dean of students and the school security guards, came to the eatery, minutes later, they came directly to where Jasper was with Maya.

The dean was a man that bully the weak and succumb to the strong, he looked voracious, and he stormed his palm on the table like a wild beast, with evidence of threat in his eyes.

He glanced at Maya and his facial expression changed drastically, it became less hostile "Maya, what are you doing with rascals like him? Yoy shouldn't be seen around people that bully others unprovoked" he tried to persuade her to dump Jasper.

Jasper leaned leisurely on the chair, enjoying the antics of the dean, "he isn't at fault, sir" Maya tried to plead on behalf of Jasper.

The man turned to Jasper and smirked, he turned to Maya once again.

"I am sorry, I am not in power to pass the judgment on him, the school disciplinary committee will do it, come with me"

He said softly, Maya was downcasted, she was the reason why Jasper was facing all this harassment.

"I will go with you, Jasper" she tried to volunteer, the dean's face hardened.

"You don't have to, no one is going to punish him, if he is innocent, he will be back soon" he reasoned with Maya.

She nodded softly and thought about it, she sat down and watched dejectedly as Jasper left with them.

The two security guards tried to pounce on Jasper and dragged him away, the dean stopped them.

"How can you do that to a student?" He berated them, on the other hand, winking at them, he was afraid of provoking the wrath of Maya.

They led Jasper into the disciplinary committee room, four judges were stationed, the two young boys that came to report the case were present 

"Jasper, were you the one that get physical first?"  The first question was thrown at him.

"Yes"

Jasper answered nonchalantly, the judges amongst themselves, they wonder why he isn't feeling any remorse.

Is he calling us bluff?

They asked in their head and their faces became gloomy, their lips curled up in disdain.

"Did you slap him?" They nodded towards a young man standing at the side.

"Yes, whatever they said I did, I did it, and I didn't regret it" he answered sincerely.

The judges wrapped up the case, the moment they wanted to pass the judgment, a commotion was heard from the door.

"The vice-chancellor" someone announced, everyone turned towards the direction.

And sad the VC of the institute, coming inside, hr wore a sad look, he glanced at Jasper, and his frown deepened, a cold sweat covered his back.
