"I'm glad about this union."Ernesto said proudly."There's no better woman for my son than Brigitta, she understands and value our tradition.She'll make a good wife."Piper doesn't think she'll be able to stay here and hear all that's being said.Dinner no longer had taste she barely spoke or said a word when it was time for them to go she couldn't leave fast enough and if her behaviour seemed off to Cecilia she didn't mention it.

How she put the kids to bed is a blur the second she closed her bedroom door the flood gates stormed open,she didn't even reach her bed,she collapsed to the ground on her carpet and cried her eyes out.The tears kept on coming they wouldn't stop,a while later she heard a soft knock on her door then Aurora came in.

"Mommy?"She came to sit next to her on the floor Piper wiped her cheeks.

"What's wrong sweetie."

"I heard you crying.Are you okay?" Her tiny hands came up to stroke her face Piper could feel the tears coming again.
