CHAPTER 33 The Painful Memory
DAVID'S POV
I returned home after I dropped Anna at her apartment. I entered my apartment and went to the kitchen to grab a can of beer from the fridge to drink.
As I opened the can and took a sip, I thought about the whole thing that happened today. How I accidentally bumped into Caroline Blake.
When I found out that she was getting married to someone, I was devastated as she was my first love and the only woman I though I wanted to spend the rest of my life with until she broke my hearts to pieces.
I sat down on the kitchen chair and thought back to the times we were in college and how I first met Caroline Blake in my Sophomore year.
She was one of the planning committee involved in welcoming fresh year student. I remembered her smile when she greeted me and handed a paper to me to fill.
