Playing Along

Maria's POV

I slept like l had never before when I woke up l was lying on my bed but I remember going to bed on the floor .Who kept me on the bed ,well I didn't think much about it I had to take my shower . I had a warm shower , when I came from the bathroom l was so refreshed . l creamed my skin after the shower and went to my walk in closet to dress up. I took my school uniform which consists of a white long sleeve shirt , a skirt that was above my knee , a coat with my school's emblem on it and a black tie. I paired it with a high knee socks and a pair of black shoes. I tied my hair in a high ponytail and let some of the strands fall loosely.I applied a light makeup ,l am not really a fun of makeup but today I had to look perfect for my new school.

Yes, today was my first day in my new school. I would be attending the same school as Amber, Jordan High one of the prestigious schools in our town. I am going to make my parents proud and one more thing I am in the same grade as Amber. l took my bag and took a look at the mirror. I looked so different and adorable. l went downstairs to have my breakfast l didn't want to be late for school.

When I got downstairs everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me . It seems to that I was the center of attraction that moment. Mom complimented me and Dad dragged me to the dinning room because he didn't want me to me late either.

Amber was at the dinning room when I got there and she looked like someone who was not up for any conversation so I just hurried with my breakfast.

Outside , the was a car ready for us and I couldn't believe my eyes , my eyes almost fell out of their sockets , it was a freaking Lamborghini that was sending us to school . I got into the car so did Amber the ride to the school was Soo awkward and silent. I tried to start a conversation with Amber but she just glared at me so I just kept my words to myself. This girl was seriously something else she was really antisocial . Well I wasn't hurt because she was ignoring me .

We are here , I heard the driver say . My mouth was wide open when I saw the school it was three times bigger than our house. Amber just smirked at me and walked away . Has she forgotten I am new in this school or what?

All l needed now was to find the principal's office for my schedule .I eventually found his office and did all the necessary introductions and I found out he was Mr Patterson. He accompained me to my class ,but since the school just resumed from summer vacations the had know class I was introduced to my mates and I was asked to go and take my seat . Mr Patterson l left when I found an empty seat beside Amber and tried to sit beside her but what she did next was unbelievable she pushed the chair and made me fall with a thud when I was about to ask her why she did that she emptied a bottle of water on my hair and called me a family and spot light stealer I had had enough of this girl so what ever she is doing I was going to play along with her . I got up and gave her a resounding sleep .

Yes nobody was going to mess with me and go scout free and the same had just started. l walk to my seat wearing a smirk on my face because I was satisfied with the look on Amber's face .

Amber walked out of the class out of embarrassment and everyone was looking at me as an heroine.

I made friends easily because I was really sociable . Classes came to an end so I had to go home in the same car with Amber. The ride home was silent but I cared less of it because I wasn't ready to speak to the devil they calls herself Amber .

when we got home nobody was there but Selina was she offered me a juice box and asked me how it was I told her it was fine and went to my room to take a shower after that I wore a baggie trouser and a crop top and tied my hair into a messy bun after which I went downstairs to watch " THE SEMETERY " one of my favorite horror movies as l was still watching my parents and uncle came from work I went to greet them. They went upstairs to freshen up .

It was time for dinner , went to the the dinning room and ate mom asked me if my day and I told her everything well not everything I didn't tell her about the fight l had with Amber because I am not and will never be a family wrecker. After having dinner we went watched television together and didn't even spare a glance at Amber cause I was not up for any of her nonsense .

After the movie I went to bed because I sleepy but I felt thirsty and went to get water because I forget to take a bottle of water before going to bed bed as I reached in front of Amber's room ,l heard my name and she was planning something evil against me with her accomplice Kelly but I wasn't going to let them win , I was going to let them fall into their own trap .I went for the water and went back to sleep.
