Huge Sensation

Hong Xu took out an old phone from her drawer and made a phone call.

"What did I pay you for? You did not even manage to hit a little girl!", Hong Xu gritted her teeth, her beautiful eyes filled with the frightening urge to kill.

"Madam, I almost succeeded however a young man appeared out of nowhere and suddenly saved her. I had to leave in order to arouse any suspicious.", A man explained.

"Whatever! Find another chance and take care of her! I don't want her ruining my daughter's wedding!", Hong Xu immediately hung up the call and placed the phone in a drawer before locking it.

"Qin Mei, you must have really found someone to marry huh? Whoever it is, I don't give a damn but you can forget about getting your shares back! I'll make you regret coming into my husband's life!", Hong Xu's eyes turned cold.

Qin Mei and Huo Xinhan took an elevator to the down floor.

"How many floors do you have?", Qin Mei asked him.

"Six", Huo Xinhan replied.

Qin Mei nodded and was soon immersed in her own thoughts. Tomorrow, she was going to Qin corporation to get back her shares no matter what!

"Where... where are we going?", Qin Mei asked curiously as she followed her husband to the garage.

Huo Xinhan pressed on a button on the wall and the door to the garage opened by itself.

Along the way, Qin Mei noticed numerous bodyguards stationed at almost every corner of the villa.

The amazingly huge garage was filled with more than fifty luxurious cars and motorbikes which left Qin Mei stunned once more.

Her husband was really filthy rich than she imagined.

"We're going to buy some clothes. My family will be having a family dinner tomorrow and I plan on taking you there", Huo Xinhan replied to her.

"Your... the... the Huo family? Everyone... everyone will be there?", Qin Mei almost exclaimed. The Huo family was the most powerful family in the country and filled with powerful and mysterious figures. It was already good enough that she had married the most powerful Huo member but now he was going to introduce her to the others?

"Uh-huh", Huo Xinhan replied but stopped to see her reaction.

Qin Mei was immersed in her thoughts and did not realize that he had stopped, her forehead almost hit him but he immediately reached out his hand and stopped her from hitting him.

"You...", Qin Mei blushed with embarrassment and was left speechless.

"Watch your footsteps next time.", Huo Xinhan chuckled when he noticed her red face.

"Will... will...will...Huo...Huo...", Qin Mei stuttered.

"Huo Zilan? Will he be there?", Huo Xinhan interrupted her, his voice frighteningly cold.

Qin Mei felt the anger in his voice and quickly explained herself.

"I...I just don't want to meet him...if...if he knows I married you then he will inform my family. Everyone will know and it will affect my career", Qin Mei explained nervously. She understood that Huo Xinhan did not like her mentioning Huo Zilan.

"Me being with you will affect you?", Huo Xinhan narrowed his eyes and slightly bent over, his eyes looking straight at hers.

Qin Mei was so nervous that she did not dare to look up at him and immediately looked down.

Huo Xinhan snorted coldly and grabbed her chin tightly, forcing her to look up at him.

"I...I don't mean that...I don't want people to think that I'm using you. I want people to know that I achieve everything on my own. Really...", Qin Mei's eyes turned misty from the pain.

"Are you sure?", Huo Xinhan's eyes softened a bit and he released her chin.

Qin Mei immediately nodded vigorously.

"Fine, I'll not take you to the dinner tomorrow if that's what you want. But... don't ever mention his name in my presence, I'll be jealous", Huo Xinhan said, his charming voice filling her ears.

Qin Mei was stunned and looked at him, she saw a rare hint of embarrassment on the proud and arrogant man's dazzling face.

Was he shy? Because he said he was going to be jealous? So...he really liked her? But why? When?

Qin Mei was filled with so many questions but she did not dare to ask them.

The two got into a black Bentley and Huo Xinhan helped Qin Mei fix her seat belt in the front passenger seat before going back to the driver's seat.

Along the way, the car was filled with silence and the occasional passing of the wind.

Soon they arrived and Huo Xinhan parked the car at the parking lot. He helped Qin Mei unfix her seat belt and was about to alight when a tiny hand grabbed his.

Huo Xinhan was stunned and looked at the jade like hand wrapped around his largy hand before looking up at Qin Mei.

"Can...can you put on a mask?", Qin Mei spoke up, her voice soft and pleading.

"Put it on for me", Huo Xinhan agreed immediately.

Qin Mei nodded and took out the black mask from her bag, she leaned closer and put the mask on for him with her heart racing like never before. She did not dare to look directly to him for even a second. After helping him, she also put on a mask.

She had him put on a mask because she was scared about people seeing them together. It would definitely be a huge worldwide sensation and she was not ready for that!

The two alighted and Huo Xinhan immediately wrapped his huge fingers around her tiny and soft fingers.

Her palms were so soft that he wished he would never have to let go.

Qin Mei was taken aback by his actions but she did not pull her hand out of his. She convinced herself that she had to get used to it.

"Young Master...", The mall manager immediately rushed out to greet and welcome him but was stunned when he saw the female companion beside his boss.

"This is...", The manager asked curiously, not knowing how to address her after all this was the first time the boss personally came over and he came with a female companion.

"My wife, your madam", Huo Xinhan said, his voice cold always.

"M...madam, welcome", the manager immediately regained his composure after the shock and warmly welcomed Qin Mei.

Qin Mei felt awkward but nodded at him.

She had never been treated so respectfully by anyone.

Qin Mei accompanied Huo Xinhan to shop, they were not assisted by attendants because Huo Xinhan turned down the offer.

Although the couple acted low key, their looks still attracted the attention of a few.

More people around soon noticed the couple and immediately begun to gossip.

"Who's that young man and woman? They're in masks, do you think they are celebrities?"

"I don't know but one thing I know for sure is that the man must be so handsome. Only half of his face is exposed yet I'm already falling for him"

"Hey watch your words, he's with a female companion. I can tell she also has great looks. Look at those beautiful eyes of hers"

"Look at their clothes, the man's suit is a limited edition. My boyfriend wanted to buy it but could not because it cost six figures. They must really be wealthy"

Qin Mei urged Huo Xinhan to hurry after all she felt uncomfortable under the gazes of this people. What if someone recognized him? Or her? That would be bad.

"Qin Mei?", A familiar female's soft voice was heard from behind.
