MOM'S LOVE

He had just settled in bed after coming back from work when the butler called him downstairs for dinner. He was too tired to eat but wouldn’t dare to reject the butler. He was just like Kirsi, the only difference was that at the office, kirsi was in charge and at home, he was in control. The thought of them being friends would catastrophic. If only he knew a little about what had happened before he arrived.

He got up from bed and headed straight to the dinner hall. On entering into the hall, he realised that his step father was in the hall.

“Great!” he murmured as he walked towards the table. He hadn’t gotten used to Scott yet.

“Good evening everyone.” He sat beside Amelia who seemed to be in a bad mood.

“Hello Ethan, how’s work?” that was the first time Scott spoke to him asides from the time he called when he was at Kirsi’s house.

“So far, it has been going perfectly well.” He smiled a bit, trying to hide the fact that he was nervous.
