“You’ve been acting weird ever since this morning.” He followed her out of the room and down the stairs.

“Well, I’m fine. There’s no need to worry about me.” She sat on the couch in the living room whilst Fredrick brought three cups of tea from the kitchen.

“Ok, if you say so.” Ethan had a feeling she was getting upset and so he let the conversation slide.

“I’m beginning to love this place. Everything seems so nice and warm.” Fredrick smiled, relaxing on the armchair with a cup of tea in his hands. He was not interested in anything that had to do with them.

“How about we get some snacks to go with the tea?” Ethan suggested to Fredrick, pulling him up from the chair before he could reject his offer.

“But I’m pretty much ok with the tea.” Heading for the door, Fredrick complained to Ethan. It was more like Ethan was chasing him out of his house.

“The store is not far from here, we’d be back before you know it.” He urged him closing the door behind them.
