Adjusting
After her bath,the lady helped Beth out of the room, the 18year old gasped seeing the interior design of the house. The house was painted Blue and yellow that gave the hue of green with some part painted white and it kind of reminded her of the wolf's fur.
Entering the dining table,she saw two other that she didn't recognized aside from Toran and around the table she saw lycans in there form,the lycans at her cause they couldn't believe she could see them,they steered at her and Toran steered back at them .
"Beth" Toran called her while moving close to her and stroking her,he directed her to the table and made her sit on the first seat after his that made the other men chuckle.
"Eat",he said to her again placing pork on the plate.
Beth steered at the plate and then Toran before she squinted her eyes and said;
"I don't eat pork".
Toran nodded and exchanged the pork with beef and kept stroking Beth' long hair,it seemed he loved her shampoo she used.
"Why are there lycans in your house ", asked Beth and the three men stopped. Toran turned to face and nodded.
"You can see them "asked one of the other men with spark of excitement in his eyes and the other man just sent a glare to him.
"I can ,they are right there "Beth replied and
pointed her hands to the direction",there's even one beside my boss"she added and resumed eating her beef.
"Boss"the same man asked and she nodded".I got the job yesterday*she replied and put a spoon full of rice in her mouth.
"How old are you "Toran asked steering at the way her lips moved.
"Am eighteen and I will be marking my nineteen birthday next month", she replied and stopped eating.
Toran saw her hesitation and said, Come on eat your food and stop calling me boss, am Toran call me Toran", he said and pointed at himself. The girl nodded and resumed eating her food.
She steered at the designs and then at the other men, one of them had a smile and he kept waving and giving her thumbs up that really confused her.
"Who's that", she asked pointing at Nicholas who had been waving non-stop.
" That's -", Toran could not finish his sentence cause Nicholas had stood up and was already behind his mate.
"Am Nicholas, your boss' brother.
Toran couldn't help but grit his teeth, this was his mate not his employee, he steered at his Betta and the lad nodded his head and went back to his seat where he got a slap from third in command.
"Really!", he exclaimed and received another one from the gamma.
After breakfast was done, Beth stood up first and Toran followed her, she walked casually into the garden and the black gown kept making her look amusing.
The garden was big and her house could fit in the lake, thought Beth to herself.
"Why am I here", she turned to meet Toran's cold glare that turned soft in matter of seconds.
"Cause you are mine", came the quick reply from Toran.
"Don't tell me am your new sex toy", Beth exclaimed bluntly and her look on Toran turned to a look of disgust she moved backwards and Toran had to hit himself in the head internally.
"No you are not", he replied immediately and walked to where she stood.
He moved his hand to touch her face but she moved her face away.
"Don't touch me", she warned and kept moving backwards.
"Alright I won't" the Alpha replied. "But can we talk", he said and offered her a seat. The lass sat down on the swing in the garden and. he joined her.
"Look Beth", he started. "You and I are not humans, am a lycan and well you are a guardian angel".
With the look on Toran's face people could say he wanted to clear the misunderstanding in Beth's head, he wanted her to know she wasn't his sex toy but his life partner and soul mate.
Beth seemed intrigued by her not been a human and she nodded for him to continue.
"Yesterday when you came to the restaurant you met Selene the moon goddess beside me and she has given you to me to protect, love and cater for plus to be my mate", he explained.
"You are my mate and will continue to be", declared Toran and he moved closer to where the lass sat.
"Prove to me you are not human", Beth requested in her childish voice and Toran nodded, he stayed infront of her and shape shifted into a lycan that stood infront of her Bowing it's head wanting for his mate to Pat it, and that was what Beth did.
She caressed the white fur and nudged her head with his bringing a low growl, a soft growl from her mate, Toran.
He steered back at her and turned to his human form before he took a seat beside his guardian angel, his mate.
"Do you believe me now", he asked shyly and caressed her cheek. The young girl seemed flushed and convinced, she steered at him and then at the ground and nodded shyly.
Toran smiled and kissed her forehead. "Let's go in Beth", he said and offered his hand with a smile, they both entered the mansion with him holding her hand protectively.
Toran helped Beth up the stairs and info the room, he helped her sit on the bed again, he then proceeded by squatting gracefully infront of her.
"Am going to the office", he whispered and he saw her smile and face drop.
"But we just met", she whispered back and she saw a smile make way to his beautiful face.
"Guess you miss me already", Toran asked with a mischievous grin and she nodded.
"Can I follow you", she asked and Toran shook his head, she nodded and said, "I will wait for you".
"Close your eyes", the alpha said with a smile and she did, he rose up and gave her a quick peck on the lips and left the room for Beth to open her eyes daydreaming about him already
