Keeping them Close

Separation was hard even if temporary. Levi went back home, feeling conflicted. He couldn't predict his family's reaction to the decisions he made.

Although he knew that he didn't need their approval, he wished for it. He no longer wanted his family to be divided.

Joining his present and past life would bring him the ultimate joy. Besides, he felt guilty for denying Bastian the right to be a grandfather to Esmeralda.

Levi had matured over the period he was with his family. The therapy sessions were of great help. His emotional intelligence and awareness were by far improved.

Thus he knew. He may easily forgive Arya for the pain she caused him but his family may not. If he could, he would have hidden it. Sadly, it wasn't up to him to make that decision.

Her departure had broken him in ways he couldn't describe. The problem with sharing your pain with family is that they don't forgive those who hurt their loved ones.
