Whenever she looked in the mirror, she appreciated her beauty and felt good about it. As she held Esmeralda, she was aware of the overwhelming rush of warmth that flooded her heart.

She never had that before him. He taught her how to love herself again. He held her hand through the process as she fell in love with herself and found peace with her identity.
