Her mercy to His penitence

"Don’t do it love! Please. Am sorry I hurt you. How can I live without you? Forgive me. " The girl stood at the cross road. Tears streamed down her pale cheek as she debated between listening to his pleas or to her heart. She was tired and could no longer take any of it. He took everything from her yet she stayed until she felt that her soul was no longer alive. Each pain he caused chipped a little at her soul until there was nothing left to give. She was now an empty soul that was hanging on a thin thread. She was only breathing, but being alive never counted as living. It was time to let go. His Lover

Mark didn't wait for his men to reach his girl. He did it himself. After retrieving Mara and keeping her safe, he went to get his beloved.

His men had already surrounded the enemy. He had listened to Sarah taunting the man. He even felt a little jealous seeing the man look at her with interest.

However, everything changed once the man's vulgar words went through his ears. His gas mask was secured on his face before initiating the attack.

The gas bomb was strong and potent enough to put them to sleep. He trusted his men enough to take the enemy back to Barack.

At the moment, his only priority was his woman. Sarah's safety was already jeopardized and he felt responsible for it.

Regrettably, there was nothing he could do. This was the line of duty she chose. He couldn't ask her to abandon her dream and stay back at home.

Despite the turmoil he was going through, he made it to her and effortlessly picked her up. She was his to protect.
