Engulfed into the chest that was sturdy as a wall, belonging to Jackson. Olivia stared at the odd pattern of the man's flannel shirt. She even noticed the loose thread behind the button at the very top.

Her week had been going so well. She had crushed the infamous defense attorney, Narcus Walker, and had lunch with her mother yesterday. So when Dave stormed into the courtroom, practically dragging her out four hours ago, she had no idea how her world would be crumbling yet again with horrible news.

"You don't get to do that, show up, and think I'd forgive you. You need to earn me Mr. McQueen, the way I earned you." It's been a week and a half since Olivia boldly said those words to the man she loves, yes, Olivia loves Jairus.

At first, Olivia thought of their attraction for each other as a merely twisted obsession, for she was obsessed with the truth, and the burning need to understand the man while he was obsessed with keeping her far away from him.
