"What are you two doing here?"

Wenqian pretended that she didn't know about their trip going to the construction site. She purposefully goes there 2 hours after the said time.

Mingxia and Qiang were delighted when they saw Wenqian. Qiang hurriedly bought the flowers to Wenqian's face.

"Ms. Zhong! This is for you!"

He excitedly said and extended his hands to show Wenqian the flowers. The girl was disgusted but she never let him know it.

She grab it from him and called her driver.

"You know what to do already."

"Yes, Ma'am, you can rest assured."

Qiang thought that the driver will put it in the vase and display it in Wenqian's house for decoration.

But Wenqian meant to throw it away, as she never really accepts anyone's gift. She either throws it or gives it away.

"We're here to check the equipment and how the workers are doing, do you have the list of equipment?"

Qiang and Mingxia both look at each other.

"I'm sorry but Xiaohui never told us or give something to us."

Wenqian looks at her driver before he nodded and left to get something from the car. As soon as he walks back, he gives the envelope to Wenqian which has the list.

"You should have known everything about the contract. It will be a problem if you didn't read it properly."

Wenqian walks ahead as Qiang and Mingxia both scoff.

"Xiaohui sets us up again! Look, we embarrassed ourselves!"

Mingxia curses.

"Let's go and follow Ms. Zhong quickly."

Wenqian toured the two around the construction site. She told them the things they needed to buy for the equipment.

"Tell Ms. Zheng that she needed to find another bunch of construction workers to fasten the corporation."

But, as Wenqian tells them the things, she would intentionally says Xiaohui's name. It was as if she was indirectly telling them that she'll only partner up with Xiaohui.

Qiang and Mingxia weren't oblivious enough not to notice it. They were both upset as Wenqian just ignores them.

"Xiaohui, I'm going out later."

Xiaohui looks up from the documents she reads to Meixiu, who is standing in front of her.

Xiaohui was confused but nodded her head anyway. She wanted to ask where Meixiu is going but she felt like she will invade her privacy.

"I'm going with a friend, he's going to fetch me here."

Meixiu answered the unspoken question from Xiaohui's head.

"Am I asking about it?"

"Seems like you wanted to ask so I told you."

"Where are you going then?"

"He said some convention center."

Xiaohui hums.

"Just be careful, there will be a lot of expensive stuff there."

Meixiu nodded and walk inside their bedroom. She readied herself and receive a text from Renshu that he finally arrived outside.

She walks out and saw Renshu standing on the side of his car.

"Ms. Song!"

After learning more about Meixiu from Zixin, he decided to change how he calls her.

As Zixin told him, Meixiu is a very secretive person. She doesn't want anyone to know her real identity as her father and mother's family is in a higher class.

"How long are we going to stay there?"

Meixiu stops in front of Renshu as the man opens the passenger door.

"As long as you wanted."

"Ok."

After going inside, Renshu quickly shuts the door and walks to the driver's seat. He started the car and drove off.

"Kang Renshu is with Meixiu? Is it because of the money?"

Xiaowen heard Meixiu and Xiaohui's conversation earlier so she decided to check who was going to fetch Meixiu.

She was shocked upon learning that it is Kang Renshu. She suddenly thought about the money.

Maybe, Meixiu scams him!? And she's going to pay for it!

"That's right, she deserves it!"

Renshu and Meixiu finally reach their destination. It was 30 minutes away from Meixiu's house.

Meixiu walks out first before Renshu can even open the door for her. She looks around the traditional Chinese house in amazement.

"Ms. Song, this showcase is owned by the Jia family. The Master is known to have like antiques that much."

Renshu told her.

Meixiu nodded her head as they both make their way inside the showcase event. Inside, they were surrounded by a lot of people wearing business suits.

Renshu looks at Meixiu as he thought she might be uncomfortable. But Meixiu seems to not care whether they are wearing something or not.

They both saw antique jars, plates, mugs, and many more. They were all inside a glass cage but the one in the middle is freely opened.

It is the Snake Dragon Jar. It's been in the hands of the Jia family ever since they broke out of Monarchy.

Jia family is well-known ever since. They may not be the original members of the Monarchy but they are related to them.

Jia family is ranked 5th in the overall ranking in the whole country. Jia family is a resident in Jiangqiao, taking 1st place in being the wealthy family.

"Ms. Song, do you want to see the Snake Dragon Jar close up?"

Meixiu approaches the said jar. Standing beside a woman that is 3 inches smaller than her.

"Snake Dragon Jar..."

The woman looks at her.

"Did you know that the Jia Imperial steals the Snake Dragon Jar from the Shin Imperial?"

The woman glares at her before crossing her arms.

"Excuse me? Are you making false rumors?"

Meixiu finally looks at her and smiles. She quickly shakes her head and crosses her arms.

"I studied antiques and history because my father want me to. And I learned that it's hidden from everyone."

The woman furrowed her eyebrows.

"I never learned about it."

"As I said, it's hidden from everyone."

"I'm from the Jia family, my name's Jia Suyin."

Jia Suyin held out her hand for Meixiu. The taller girl nodded and accepted her hand.

"Ms. Song - Oh, Ms. Jia."

Renshu approaches Meixiu as soon as he finished talking to someone. He was pulled even before he follows Meixiu.

Meixiu looks at Renshu.

"Do you know her? Renshu?"

Renshu nodded his head, keeping his head down for the two wealthy ladies.

"I guess, Renshu knew about you."

Suyin looks confused.

"How did you meet her? Renshu?"

"Ah, Ms. Jia, about that-"

"Private? Ok!"

Suyin seems to be fine with Renshu hiding Meixiu. The tall girl was amazed and was quickly captivated by her.

Jia Suyin is the youngest lady in the Jia family. She handles the business for antiques this time as her uncle fell sick.

Jia Suyin became an orphan as soon as she hit 5 years old. Her father got into an accident before he even get home.

Her mother died giving birth to her. Suyin grew up in her grandmother's arms, the main head of the Jia family.

"What are you doing here? Are you going to buy antiques?"

"Renshu just invites me. Since I don't have anything to do and my wife is at home, I decided to come with him."

Wife? She's married?

Suyin nodded her head and look at the Snake Dragon Jar.

"Where did you learn the history?"

"I learn from the best."

Changpu wants the best for his daughter so he decided to get the best teacher for her.

It was also the time when Meixiu has other friends besides Weimin and Mingzhu.

But they never meet again after the contract and Meixiu is sent to the orphanage.

"That Xiaohui! She let us be embarrassed by not having the list!"

Qiang exploded as soon as they both reach his car. Mingxia is passed out on the passenger side with hurting feet.

I should have worn sneakers instead.

"Did you see how Ms. Zhong completely ignore us? Xiaohui is always on her mouth!"

Qiang said again.

"Keep quiet for now! I want to rest."

Mingxia said as she lean her back on the seat. Qiang scoffs.

"It's your fault for wearing that heels, you did know we are going to a construction site."

Mingxia scoffs.

"I know that! She might come with someone you know? Why not impress him?"

"I heard she's not that friendly."

Mingxia nodded.

"You should tell this to Grandpa, he might change the director and give ut to you."

"Grandma, this is Meixiu! I met her today, at the event."

Suyin happily introduced Meixiu to her grandmother. The old woman squinted her eyes before putting her hands out for a handshake.

"It's nice to meet you, Mrs. Jia."

"Likewise."

The old woman looked at Suyin before signaling to her that they need to talk.

"Meixiu, wait here with Renshu, I need to talk to Grandma."
