"Meixiu, are you going to the company?" Xiaowen points her chopstick to Meixiu. The younger furrowed her eyebrows but nodded her head.

"Xiaowen, it's bad to point your chopstick at someone," Grandma Peng said.

"Ma, do I have to respect this bastard?"

"Of course! She is the wife of your daughter."

"Mom, she never does anything good! Why would you respect her?"

Grandma Peng looks at Meixiu before patting her head.

"She'll do good in the future. She might not treat you better if you continue that" Grandma Peng said.

But Xiaowen just dismisses it and continues eating. After the three finished, Meixiu quickly wash the dishes and change her clothes to go to Zheng Company.

"Take care, Meixiu!"

Meixiu smiles and gave Grandma Peng a thumbs up. She hops in her scooter and drives away.

As she cross the intersection, she didn't notice a fast car coming. It was lunch but there wasn't a lot of car in the intersection.

In the process, Meixiu and the car came in contact. The driver go out of the car and look at the damage.

"This is expensive!"

The driver looks at Meixiu in hatred before approaching her and looking down at her.

Because of the impact, Meixiu was thrown away from her scooter. Meixiu is laying on the ground while the driver just glares at her.

"You better pay for this! This car's damage is expensive!"

Meixiu slowly stands up and looks at the man, who's nagging at her about paying for the car. Meixiu glances at the car.

"It's only a scratch."

The man huffs a breath before holding Meixiu's arm.

"Can't you see!? Even if it's just a scratch, it will still cost me a fortune!"

"Then, if you can afford this kind of car, you better have the money to fix it," Meixiu said, walking towards her scooter.

The man was speechless at what he just heard. He approaches Meixiu and turns her around.

"I can easily make you kneel!"

Meixiu raises her eyebrows at what the man said.

"Do it then."

The man grab his phone and decided to call someone. After speaking, he hangs up and smirks at Meixiu.

"Just wait! I call Brother Zixin to help me deal with you! Brother Zixin is Brother Renshu's right hand! He can easily kill you!"

Meixiu just looks at the man with a knowing smile. She nodded her head and wait for the said man.

After some time, Zixin finally came and he has an angry expression.

Who wouldn't get angry if a bastard just ruined your sleep!?

Zixin has a night mission that Renshu told him to do. He finished it at around 3 in the morning and he was very tired.

"Kong Ning! Better make this sufficient!"

"Yes! Brother Zixin, help me deal with this woman!" Kong Ning points at Meixiu.

Zixin followed his fingers and widen his eyes upon seeing Meixiu.

"RD! Why are you here?"

"I was supposed to go to my wife's company when he came and just drive over me."

Zixin was enraged when he heard this. He looks at Ning as the man was confused.

"Kong Ning! You dare to disrespect her!? She is the successor to the Song Mafia!"

Kong Ning's whole world shutter. If you think about it, Meixiu is higher than them!

She's even higher than their big boss! But if you are to tell someone, Meixiu is their big boss!

Of course, she will be!

Renshu is already under her, Zixin as well. The Kang Gang is under the Song Mafia!

Kong Ning quickly kneels and clasps his hands to ask for forgiveness.

"RD! I'm sorry! I didn't know it was you!"

"Bastard! It's late to apologize!"

Kong Ning's face paled as Zixin was mad at him. He received a slap across his face as Meixiu just watches.

"RD! Would you like me to punish him?"

"Yeah, destroy this expensive car of him and let him fix it."

Kong Ning's face shows shock. If this was Renshu, he'll just ruin Ning's face and remove him from the upcoming mission.

But Meixiu smashed things! And not just things, it's his favorite car!

"RD! Just beat me! Please don't touch my car!"

"Exactly! The car is more valuable than a person's health! You don't even check if I was ok!"

Meixiu was fuming when she said those. Ning couldn't do anything and just look down in shame.

Zixin nodded his head and lay his hand for Ning to hand his keys. Kong Ning gave his keys to Zixin and the man quickly bow down and left with Kong Ning's car.

"Next time, make sure to check the one you drove over. Your lights are red so be careful."

After saying that, Meixiu left Ning. She continues driving until she reaches the Zheng Company.

"Meixiu! I've been waiting for you!"

Meixiu smiles widely upon seeing Xiaohui outside the building. She quickly hops out of her scooter and approaches her.

Xiaohui saw the condition of the scooter and furrow her eyebrows.

"What happened?"

Xiaohui held Meixiu's hands. The tall girl smiles before shaking her head.

"Nothing, I was driven over."

"Are you ok?" Xiaohui's voice is filled with worry as she averted her eyes to look at Meixiu.

"I'm ok, good thing the driver is kind and didn't let me pay for anything."

"There are still angels around and they were rare so better thank them."

Meixiu just nodded her head.

Xiaohui guides her wife toward the company as she explains what she wants to have help with.

"We're going to put all the boxes into the new room of mine! For the director."

Meixiu smiles and nodded her head.

The elevator door opened and Meixiu's smile faded upon seeing Tingfeng.

Tingfeng's face was swollen and he has a purple bruise on both of his cheeks. He looks like a pig but still goes out.

Xiaohui got shocked when she saw Tingfeng's situation.

"What happened to you?"

Tingfeng gritted his teeth before pointing his fingers at Meixiu.

"It's because of your wife! She let me get slapped for your mother!"

"What are you saying? I just stayed in our house or I go to the market to buy ingredients" Meixiu said.

Tingfeng was angry that he grab Meixiu's arms. The girl was calm but deep inside, she was screaming because it has scratches from earlier.

"You dare to lie! Didn't you know Kang Renshu!? You even told him you didn't know me!"

Xiaohui was confused at what Tingfebg is saying. She looks at Meixiu before snatching her away from him.

"Meixiu, is that true?"

"Are you believing Tingfeng instead of your wife?" Meixiu felt disappointed.

"I just wanted to know! You go to the Sapphire Group yesterday, right?"

Meixiu stops for a while before she removes Xiaohui's hand from her arms.

"Why would I go there? I don't even know anyone in there! And what he's saying is not true! You believe him easily while you can't with me?"

"Meixiu, I'm just making sure! Ok, if you really are not there then I believe you. Let's go and help me upstairs."

Tingfeng's jaw drops to the floor at what he just heard. He can't let Meixiu go without even punching her.

Before Meixiu could go in the elevator with Xiaohui, Tingfeng already caught her shirt and pull her to the floor.

"I still need to get my revenge!"

After saying that, he starts to kick Meixiu. Xiaohui was shocked and quickly walk out of the elevator to stop Tingfeng.

"Stop it already!"

But Tingfeng was so angry that he pushed Xiaohui away, making the girl stumble on the ground.

Meixiu saw this and quickly push Tingfeng's feet away from her. The guy was quickly knocked out upon hitting his head on the ground.

"Xiaohui! Are you ok?"

"Baby, do you want to go home for now? I can help you move tomorrow."

Xiaohui just stands up with the help of Meixiu. The tall girl check her body and sighed when she didn't see any scratches.

"I'm ok."

She glances at Tingfeng before taking Meixiu's hand.

"Let's go now, I don't have time for tomorrow because I need to see the construction site."

Meixiu nodded and follow Xiaohui towards the elevator. The two were silent inside the elevator until Xiaohui broke it.

"Do you think... Tingfeng will still wake up?"

"Of course! I didn't push him that hard."

Xiaohui looks at Meixiu and nodded her head.

"I'm just making sure."

And silence occurs again. The elevator door opens and Xiaohui walks toward her space.

"I can bring the big boxes for you, baby."

"Ok, if you insist."
