"Yes, I'm obsessed with you. So much that it's driving me crazy!" Alex burst into tears,
His sudden outburst made Caily shudder and stunned her into silence,
"First, I found out that you have a son. Then, you almost died in my arms. Do you know how scared I was? And he—he was standing there. Toby was terrified to see you that way," He struggled the words out between quiet sobs,

Caily's jaw dropped in utter disbelief. She knew with every fiber of her being that Alex was never the type to cry so easily, especially not in front of her. But at that moment, he looked vulnerable like a baby pleading to be drawn into a soothing embrace.
