Daniel Pov

We reached the auditorium, as I reached the seat allotted to us, I searched for my little goblin, as my eyes gazed for her, I saw her searching for me, I simply waved at her, I sat down when the Chief guest was asked to come to the stage, I was so very shocked to look at Mr Felix, walking up to the podium, Megan was jumping with happiness, I promised myself one day I will make her proud the same way for me, Mia went up to receive her certificate, we clapped and I noticed Megan looking at me, to ensure about Mia, I just nodded, as time passed, the distinction students names was announced with around of cheering, her friends were called to stage while they percentage been told, I waited for this little minion, to go up the stage, I didn't want to sit with my family, I went to the left corner of the auditorium, and stood there waiting, finally Megan name was announced, I was stunned that my Meg scored 2nd highest marks in her school, she was rewarded with a trophy, Megan took the trophy and waved at her family and friends, and started to search for me in the sixth row, I saw slight disappointment on her face while she rummaged around the auditorium, as she saw me standing in the corner, she smiled, and looked away before anyone notice.

My Dad wanted to meet

Mr Felix, we went with our Dad, He introduced himself to Megan's Dad when it came to me, he gladly tapped my shoulder and said, my Dad should proud of me and he complimented me. I saw the happiness in Meg's face, She kept preparing me for so many new challenges, She was creating new desire and goals for my life. I wanted to give her everything she deserved. After some time, I saw Megan walking towards the narrow corridor, I went before her and waited in one of the classrooms, as she passed I pulled her in, Megan was so scared she tried to scream, but before Megan scream, I held her, and said, "Meg it's me", she hugged me with her trembling body, OMG, she was so scared, what did I do.....then I gave her gentle huge to calm her down after Megan was fine, I gave her the velvet pouch, she opened the pouch and had a surprising look, as looked at the letters engraved on it, I smiled and let her back to her family.

Megan left with her family, I stood there watching her go.... in another fifteen days, she will be on the same campus with me.....

Third-Party Pov

The Reid family reached home, Mr Reid was a little upset with Mia, for scoring just pass grades, he asked her, " Mia, what so difficult for you to score a little more makes, look at Mr Felix daughter, she's a school topper, what about you, always watching those stupid tv shows with your mother", as he was lecturing his daughter, Mrs Reid walked into the living room from the outside, and started to defend her daughter, "What's so special about that Mr Felix daughter, what's her name... Megan will do nothing with household things like our Mia, Mia, Jessica, and Becka can cook take care of all the household works, that Megan must be fit for nothing, she must be a spoilt rich father's daughter", as she was convincing Mr Reid, Jovel and Daniel came in after parking Daniel's bike. Jovel also supported his mother, by saying,

"That's true Dad, what will girls do with education, they should be good with household work and need to be obedient wife, and caring mother to their children, like our sweet Mom", as he hugged his Mom from behind, Daniel stared at everyone in the living room and slowly walked to his room. Mrs Reid sneered at Daniel as he walked.

But Mr Reid called Daniel and heartily complimented him by saying, " Danny, I am so happy, that you're in such good books with Mr Felix, actually it's Mr Reid that is in charge of recruitment for new joiners, so always be polite and keep a close relationship with Mr Felix, it will be useful in future...."

but again, Mrs Reid, uproared, "Why should he be in good books or something with an unknown person, while my brother is into politics, he can help in getting him a job where he wants, Let Danny finish his studies, I have spoken to My brother, he will find a good job for him".

Daniel just looked at Mr and Mrs Reid and said, "I know what I want to do, I don't want anybody to help me in my career, I can do it for myself.... please don't talk nonsense anymore", as he said he walked, passed everyone and left the living room to his room. Mrs Reid was so angry, she fumed in her heart, and thought to herself "Let me see for how many days you will be so compassionate about that bi*** Megan". The next day Jovel picked Jessica and Becka from Railway Station on time, for the first time Daniel refused to go with him when he asked him to accompany Jovel to pick his finance and Becka, he was a little pissed off... as Jessica got down of the train, she smiled very shyly at Jovel, lowered her head, she acted as a pure white lotus. Jovel was very convinced with the way Jessica was and behaved in front of him, he took them both home.

Daniel was at the gym when he got a call from Megan, he picked up and answered, " Hai Meg, what's up". Megan said,

"Danny, James bro is taking us for a day trip with Olivia and a few of his friends to sunset resort, you come with me, or I will the alone with them, she's leaving in another two days",

Daniel said, " Ok, at what time I have to pick you".

Megan said,

"Danny you wait near Olivia's house, Dad will drop me there, You can join me from there".

They both agreed, and when Daniel finished his Gym, he went home to find Becka and Mia sitting with his mother on the couch, Jovel sat with Jessica beside him on the other side of the couch, all were having a happy conversation, Daniel just nodded and walked to his room, Becka was so shy to even look at him, Daniel just rolled his eyes and walked away, after few minutes Daniel walked out of his room dressed ready for work, as he sat for breakfast, Becka came out with the breakfast in her hand, and placed it on the table, Daniel completely ignored her, finished his breakfast and left for his job at Brains, he needed to ask for a day off, as he needs to escort his Little goblin next day, as he walked to the elevator, Jovel called him and asked to give his bike to him, as he wanted to take Jessica out, but Daniel was not comfortable with any other girl sitting in his bike other than Megan, so he refused, saying he had work, and sometimes he needs to go for collection and needed bike. Jovel was very angry with Daniel's behaviour, he just returned home with a puffed face, Mrs Reid saw Jovel coming in with a hung face, confronted him, what happened, and Jovel told every bit of things that happened, Daniel refused him the bike and also was not willing to accompany him to the station to pick Jessica and Becka...
