Daniel went to his house and packed his things and came out to leave...but Able stopped him, and asked

"Danny, where you for the past two nights, I was worried..."

"I was with Jack, spending some time with him... I am leaving now mom, it's getting late for the office, will see you on weekends"

Abel stood there still, while Daniel walked away...

Abel was pissed at his attitude, but she needed to be calm down now...so her plans work properly.

Daniel reached his office, he was getting a proper hand on his work and was getting busier day by day...

Megan started with her classes...and she was a lot more busier than in past years in school. Teachers were finishing lesions as fast as they can for the Revision, as days passed in no time... it was Megan's Birthday, it was a grand party for her 18th birthday, all her relatives were invited for Megan's birthday, Logan came with his friend Kevin..., Karen, Ben and Ava came with Ashley, her Birthday was arranged in the resort as Jack's Engagement, Daniels, as usual, showed up exactly at 12 Oclock,

"Happy Birthday Meg, have a fabulous year ahead..."

He wished with a bunch of Red Roses and a Gold- Cristal key chain, with the letter " M " embodiment with rare stones and a photo album that he was preparing for a year....He kissed her lips and said "I love you, Meg"

Megan was surprised by the Album..."When did he prepare this", she thought to herself. Daniel kissed her forehead before leaving.

The party went well, Kavin gifted her with a bracelet, but Megan refused to wear it as she was wearing her bracelet that Daniel as gifted her, She was a little amused by the way her family was behaving, actually, they were pushing her towards to Kavin, and even Kavin came asking her for a dance... and her Mom and siblings encouraged her to dance with him, but Megan stubbornly refused, after returning from her birthday party, Megan said Good night to every and walked to her room and opened the door to see, Daniel sitting on her bed.

Megan closed the door, locked it, and ran into Daniel's arms... and said,

"We have to tell my Dad about us now, I missed you so much at the party, some unwanted guys wanted t dance with me if you were there, will anyone dare to approach me"

Daniel looked at her in puzzled, and asked,

"Who wanted to dance with you..., what was your family doing..."

"There were the once encouraged me to dance with, that Kavin... I refused him at once"

She said proudly...

"Ok, will tell your Dad, at once I am promoted at my job, is that fine..., now come near, let me kiss my birthday girl..."

He held her nape and leaned down and kissed her, undoing her dress zipper... Megan looked up at the ambitious eyes of Daniel... she didn't struggle, with her approval... Daniel started to kiss her with more passion. They each touch, each caressing, each sense, everything Daniel was doing, Megan was sent to heaven... she moaned in a low voice, which drived Daniel more wild... but after some time, when both were losing their control, both let go of each other and, breathed heavily.... after some time Megan fell asleep in his arms, Daniel looked down at the sleeping Megan in his arms, kissed her forehead, put her down on the bed, tucked her properly, left...

Mrs Felix, was closing the window's curtains, Saw a bike speeding from the side of their own compound, it was a little unusual, as it was a dead-end road.

But she didn't think much about it... Closed the window and went to sleep.

Everyone departed to their own lives after Megan's birthday, Kavin shared his number to her, and added her to his wechat, though Megan was irritated, she had to do as everyone was encouraging her, and she actually knows the reason...and pretended to be unknown of their intentions, She had to wait for another six months, for Daniel's Promotion, and she will talk to her Dad.

The six months passed in no time, like a blink of an eye, and Daniel's probation was over, and he was promoted as promised by Mr Sol as Project Manager.

Daniel called Megan to share the news.

"Meg, guess what, I got my promotion, I am a Project Manager now at S&S Crops"

he was so happy while telling, and Megan screamed in happiness,

"Congratulations... Danny, I can't tell how happy I am, when are you treating me..."

Daniel chuckled at her childishness, he said

"Ok, you decide when we can party... it's fine with me"

after few more minutes of discussion, they hang up their mobile, Megan immediately congratulated Daniel in the friend's group, after few minutes...his mobile was flooded with a lot of messages... asking for a treat.

Daniel shook his head and relied on the group,

Dark Shadow: Thank you all for your lovely wishes, we will have a small party on Saturday the coming weekend.

Ray and Riley were first to reply...

"Thank you, Daniel...."

Soon it was Saturday, Ray and Riley drove to Megan's house to pick her up, While Mrs Felix was a little reluctant to send Megan, but seeing Ray and Riley, she had no objection... but after Megan left, She thought of the bike passing from the dead-end road... Mrs Felix called her son Logan.

"Hai Logan, what happened to, what I asked you last time... Did you check from any of your friends, about Megan"

"Hi Mom, Oh I am so sorry Mom, I actually forgot about it , in all my work...."

"Whattttt... you forgot, seriously Logan, how could you even be so irresponsible...Fine go do your so-called work, why will even worry about what's happening in my daughter's life, You spend your weekend with your fiancee, bye"

Logan held his head with his hands, while Karen walked in asking,

"What's it Log...why are you so stressed..."

"Mom feels that Megan is dating someone in school...Karen, She asked me to check about it from my friends who are still in the University, but I forgot, and she's now passed off"

"But, Megan is Eighteen, and smart enough to choose, why is aunt so much worried"

"What are you talking, she may be eighteen, but she can't judge people well still, She's inexperienced, you clearly know Kavin adores her, and everyone in the family likes him, and if she's engaged to him after her exams, it would be nice"

"But what about Megan, if she's really dating someone, will she not be sad if she's separated from that boy...think about it Logan"

"Everything is already been thought, after her exam, she will be engaged to Kavin, and continue to study in N city, we have a lot of Hotel Management university here, after her studies, let them marry..."

Logan understood what Karen was trying to tell, he nodded to her, and called his friends, and asked about Megan, few friends relieved the truth to Logan, that Megan was dating a passed out senior from her department, but not clear about the person, Logan instructed them to have a clear check on that so-called mystery boyfriend, of his sister...and called his mother.

"Mom, sorry for my neglecting such an important thing, your doubt is true... Megan is dating her passed out senior from her own department, but who he is little uncertain, give me a couple of days, I will get you complete details...ok, but still that act normally as you don't know anything, don't even inform Dad, we all will talk to him when I and Ava come back home"

after finishing his call with his mother, he called Ava,

"Hai Logan, your coming home for lunch right with Karen, I have asked the chef to cook your favourite food"

"Ava, listen carefully, make some time in coming weeks, we need to go home, Megan is having a boyfriend, and if it goes on, How will she marry Kavin, he so rich, and he will be perfect for her... not some unknown...so-called passed out senior"

"What are you talking about, she's dating, but how come we had no idea about it, she had kept covered so well... I just want to confront her now"

"What can we do... if she really likes that boy so much, let her marry him after her studies..."

Ava...nodded in agreement, Megan was a brand freak, she never wears any local made clothes...the once woren dress to any event, she will not wear again for another event, and very independent, know one can tell her... what she have to do...the list goes on....as she thought, Ava listened to what Logan said...

"Then let's wait, get all the information about that guy, will see... I will talk to Ben about my travelling...we need to confront her, what she's thinking...we can't hastily decide for her, Kavin is good, but if she doesn't like him, Megan won't be happy"

Both finished their call... buried themself in their own thoughts... while Megan had no idea what was going on, she was enjoying her party with her friends... while Daniel was hugging her in his arms, the warmth of Daniel's hug gave was what she wanted for her lifetime....nothing more or less.
