  Alarm bells go off in my head. What the hell was he doing? Abby and Erin bolts to their feet and starts to pack up the letters. I lock the tube and put it and the letters back in my safe.

  "M? We heard you found your mate, and from that voice, I can tell it is true." Mom sounded excited from the other side of the door.

I point towards the frowning Seth. Erin and Abby soundlessly  go to pick him and his stuff up. After they shut my bedroom door after them, Austin and i hurry towards the door, throwing myself at him before unlocking it.

  My mother looked like she had been crying.

"So it is true." She pressed a palm against her heart.

"Good evening mom. We planned to come see you tomorrow." I start with a nervous chuckle.

Mom waved her hand dismissively,

  "Nonsense. You just found him, nobody expects you out of the den in a few days."

I blush mostly out of embarrassment.
