Chapter-20

"Dad." Lily called as she ran towards Asher as soon as she saw him. Ivy smiled looking at how much Lily loves her Dad.

Asher took her in his arms as he smiled at her.

"Let's go." Asher said making Ivy frown.

"Huh?" Ivy asked as he stood in front of her.

"What? Let's go." Asher said making Ivy blink her eyes.

"Where?" Ivy asked.

"To my Mansion." Asher answered.

"Umm... Why?" Ivy asked but Asher opened his car door for her with Lily still in arms.

"But.. My car? And We didn't got Lily's things from her class... Neither we informed them that we are taking Lily." Ivy said.

"I will manage it. Get in." Asher replied making her stare at him.

"Mom... Let's go." Lily said and she looked at her and then at Asher who is waiting for her to get into the car.

She nodded her head a little and got inside the car then, Asher closed the door.

He opened the back seat door and made Lily sit behind. He closed the door and walked around his Side of the car. He got inside the driver seat and started the engine, driving off from there, Ivy frowned at him.

"Why are we going to your Mansion?" Ivy asked as she looked at him making Asher looked at her and looked away from her but he didn't reply anything to her.

Ivy was scared if she talked anything wrong with Sophia and that is why, Asher is angry with her. She is not sure why he is taking her to his Mansion. She took a deep breath as she thought that she needs to be strong while talking with him. Because, Asher is not an easy guy to just shut his mouth. But, She doesn't regret how she behaved or talked with Sophia.

'What if he still loves her?' That was what got into her mind. But she care less even if he loves or cares about her.

She was wrong at her point and that's what she felt. Ivy thought. She looked around to see Lily looking out of the window with a smile.

Then, she turned her head towards Asher and saw how straight his face is while driving. She sighed as she looked out of the window, releasing a breath.

The ride was comfortable and silent. None had talked anything. She was surprised to see that even Lily was silent all the way back to her home. She was worried for sometime as she thought that Lily is silent and might be feeling bad about how she talked to Her mother, Sophia. But she was smiling looking out of the window whenever Ivy tries to look back at her, trying to check her expression but not a even a sad expressions crosses her face.

She was releaved at that point but still, she was wrong in slapping her mother like that in front of her. But she had too with the way, she is not at all shutting her mouth. Ivy thought that maybe, her mother's words might affect her badly. So, that... She could do nothing but to slap her to shut her mouth.

She wanted to talk to Lily after She walked towards the Car but she was afraid that Lily might take her wrongly and thought that she might should give her sometime to cope up with what happened.

She sighed as she closed her eyes making Asher look at her.

Ivy looked at him and then looked out of the window making Asher smile at her.

He stopped the car in front of their Mansion making Ivy look up at the mansion.

Her eyes widened looking at the amazing Mansion in front of her.

It's so beautiful and bigger than her Mansion. But Asher's Mansion is most of covered with Glass which shines so beautifully.

She kinda liked his home and it's impressive how the garden and everything is Maintained well.

"It's so beautiful." Ivy said.

"Of course, It's mine after all." Asher replied and Ivy rolled her eyes at him.

'There you go with the real Asher.' She Murmured under her breath.

"Let's get out." Asher said as he got out of the car and opened Lily's car door.

She got out of the car while Ivy opened her door and got out.

"Why am I here?" Ivy asked and Asher just stared at her which made her sigh.

"To meet my mom to see your new home." Asher answered.

"Well... I have met her." Ivy said and Asher shrugged.

"So what? Let's go, see my home." Asher replied as he walked inside with Lily.

Ivy sighed as she rolled her eyes at Asher and walked behind him.

Ivy eyes widened as she looked at the beautiful House as she walked inside.

She couldn't believe that, she is going to live here after she gets married to Asher. But, Hence... She doesn't really want to get married to him by Love. It was just... Marriage on a paper for both of them but nothing else. There is no love in between them and neither they will ever love each other. They can't... Because, They really hate each other. They hate each other personalities to their guts. But she is happy that she can be of any help to her parents. She is happy that she can able to help them out in a way that she feel greatful for her and for them, she is going to sacrifice her happiness which meant a lot to her.
