Her Eternal Mr. Right
"You are just a gold digger to me. Do you understand? Just a gold digger! You have literally sold yourself to me for your Father's company. You are just here as my wife for my daughter. That's it!" Asher said with an anger as he pushed her to the wall. "What? Just... a gold digger?" Ivy asked with tears in her eyes. "Yes. Gold digger like you just need money right? I will give you. Just tell me how much you wanted to enjoy your life?" Asher asked with anger. Her heart has broken into pieces as she heard, what he just said about what he is thinking about her! She never thought that he think of her as a gold digger all these while... She had thought that... He is her Mr. Right as they are very happy with each other. They were in love. Aren't they really? But she believed that... He is the one. He is her prince Charming. He is a person who entered her life out of nowhere and suddenly means the world to her but now, he thinks, she is a gold digger. How can he has no idea that she had sacrificed her happiness because of her father? Till yesterday, he is the one that loved her the most... But now, the same man calls her a gold digger. This made her confusing. He's both good and bad. Her brightest moments and darkest Hours is him. He made her laugh but now, he is the one that made her cry. She is having a hard time understanding him, because on the one hand, she loves him for the happiness he gives her but on the other hand, she despise him right now because of the pain he gives her. And she has no idea where she is at fault?
Chapter-16
"What? No. I mean... You don't love him. How can you so easily marry him without love? You know that Love is important in life. You always wanted someone to love you just like you are! Are you sure that you can be happy in this love less marriage?" Natalia asked and Ivy shrugged her shoulders.
"I have no idea. I don't know How will I able to cope up with everything. I will be engaged to him soon and then, we are going to get married." Ivy answered making Natalia sigh.
"Ivy, You have bought a huge problem on to your head. You know... you shouldn't do this but... I don't know... Why are you trying to give up on your happiness when it was all that meant to you?" Natalia asked.
"For my parents!" Ivy answered making her sigh.
"Ivy, let me tell you one thing. You don't know anything about that guy but still, You are going to marry him. I am not sure how this gonna be to you. You are doing this for your parents but think about yourself. Your happiness. If you aren't happy then what is the use of getting married?" Natalia asked.
"I don't want to think about anything right now, Natalia. I can't go back on my words. No matter what I need to do it. Do this. Just not because for my parents but also, Lily. She needs someone to take care off..." Ivy said making Natalia sigh.
"He is rich. He can have many people to look after the girl. Why do you care about her?" Natalia asked.
"He can have many people to look after her but what about the little girl's feelings? Will they look after her with love? Nope. They will only look after her for the pay he gives. But... If my sacrifice is going to benefit both at the same time and keeps them happy then I am ready to do anything. Just like now... I am ready to do everything that I can. Lily had become the most important to me now. So, I am not going back on my words." Ivy answered making her take a deep breath.
"Are you sure about this? Because, I want you to be happy. You are getting forced because of your parents and how long will you be married to him?" Natalia asked and Ivy shrugged.
"I am not getting forced. I understood that My parents needs my help and I will do anything that will make them happy and I am sure, I will be happy if they are happy. I am not sure until when I will be married to him but, I don't think, I will end up being alone anytime soon." Ivy said making her sigh.
"My parents never said anything to my decision. They have always supported me and I think, this is my time to just give them all back and save them from this mess. And, I am happy that, I am going to be Lily's mother. So... I think, I will be happy without any love." Ivy said making Natalia smile.
"I am quite surprised to see that you are going to sacrifice your happiness for something that you don't want... Your happiness was everything that means to you as long as I know but suddenly... All these is something is too much for me to digest. I have always look up at you for not giving up on yourself and I hope, you will never too. But, Try to get out of this as soon as possible. I want you to be happy. Happy for real." Natalia said and Ivy nodded.
"When are you going to get Married?" Natalia asked and Ivy shrugged.
"I don't know." Ivy answered and she sighed.
"You know... You are just too good, Ivy and that man should be really happy that you are going to be his wife. I hope, he won't be hard on you and understand you." Natalia replied as she hugged her.
"Well... Thank you so much for caring about me, Natalia." Ivy said and Natalia smiled.
"Of course, I do. I do care and love you so much. Just remember that I will be here whenever you need and want me. Okay?" Natalia asked and Ivy nodded her head with a bright smile.
"I gotta go now. I have a class. See you." Natalia said.
"See you. I took a half day. I will leave to home now." Ivy replied.
"Ohh. That's good. Rest well. See you tomorrow." Natalia said and waved her hand as she walked out of the room and Ivy waved her hand at her until she disappeared from her sight.
