Taking Charge

He had seen a little drama unfold during the donation's drive, but nothing had come from it.

"I'm sorry about what happened during the donation," Kevin stated apologetically.

"That's not why I am here. This is about Mercy," Bill said. "You need to fire her."

"I know you helped us with a donation drive, but that gives you no power in this organization. Who are you to tell me who should and who shouldn't work here?' Kevin asked Bill, who smiled back in amusement.

"Just a person with the best interests of the organization at heart. You need to let her go, or I will ask my friends in the media to publish an article about how careless this organization is," Bill threatened.

" Are you even serious now? What kind of a person are you? If you had wanted Mercy, why didn't you directly get to her? Why include all the children in your dirty plans?" Kevin asked in anger.

"She has caused untold suffering to a little girl called Carina," Bill explained.
