"I also don't have the energy to argue with you. Why won't you allow me to see my son? I want to see him, and I want to see him now. Please don't make me lose my temper," Carey said.
"Is that a threat?"
"Consider it whatever you want to. I don't care anymore. All I am asking from you is that you allow me to see my son. Is that too much to ask?" Carey said.
"Not today," Karen said, attempting to walk past Carey, but he held her so tightly in the arms that Karen feared that her muscles would break.
"You're hurting me. Let go," Karen screamed in pain.
Val, who hadn't really left, drove back into the compound, and Carey suddenly let go of Karen.
"I will come back, and don't blame me next time. I won't be so polite. I want to see my son." Carey angrily said as he stormed off.
"Thank you. You kind of saved me from him today." Karen told Val.
