Ryuu blinked, cheeks pinkening slightly, and nodded. “Yes. Just this morning.”
Jayde pulled out of Natashia’s arms and stood next to Ryuu, grasping his hand in hers. “It was a hundred percent consensual.”
Natashia took a deep breath, running a hand through her short hair. That mark was definitely a deep part of their history, and made sense since there hadn’t been a vampire-dragon couple since that time. “Yes… well… Uh, Ryuu, do you know when your father will be back?”
Ryuu shrugged, pulling Jayde closer so she was slightly under his shoulder. “No, but I think he’ll be back sooner rather than later. I have a feeling that you’re asking because of our mark.”
She breathed out heavily, and nodded. “It looks like Znak, which means there’s a whole new world coming for you two. Let’s move to-”
“Somewhere we can discuss this without too many ears.”
The three of them turned to face Ormr, coming up the hallway with a box in his arms.
