"Fuck. Huntr, you're going to want to get blood ready for transfusions. He's going to need it. As soon as we take the tourniquet off, we're going to need to work fast to save his leg. However, before we can do that, we have to get someone who can get the tarasque poison out of his system."
Huntr froze for a second, staring at the wound. "Tarasque poison? How did... you know what, that doesn't matter. Get an Addonexus or see if Natashia knows where a Caladrius is. I'll go get the blood. Jayde, yell if he starts having a harder time breathing or if anything happens that shouldn't be."
Jayde watched as both men ran out of the room, Emerald pulling his cell phone out of his pocket and holding it to his ear. She closed her eyes, letting some of the tears fall, before kissing the back of Ryuu's hand. The feeling of her insides twisting got tighter as she waited for them to get back.
Huntr got back first, carrying a small cooler that he set next to the bed.
"What's a tarasque?"
