Chapter 41
Ryuu groaned. He knew that Nuri, as both his best friend and closest guard while at the school, was just looking out for him. If he was with other people, it was less likely there would be an attempt on his life. Ryuu glanced at the time and figured if he took a quick shower, he would make it to history, even if he was a few minutes late.
The shower helped refresh him, but took him a little longer than he had planned too. He considered being fifteen to twenty minutes late not all that bad, but Ryuu knew it definitely wasn’t good.
As Ryuu got closer to Mr. Crea’s classroom, the scent of rain and jasmine gently mixing caught his attention. When he opened the door, the scent, unique only to one person, flooded his senses and he almost ran into the room to see her. But Mr. Crea’s look of annoyance froze him in the doorway.
