The room fell quiet as Mr. Crea paused in his lecture, looking up from the book he had been referring to during it to stare at Ryuu.
“Mr. Pendragon. While I find it a good day to finally have you in class again, it would have been better if you had arrived on time,” Mr. Crea sounded a bit peeved. He pointed towards the class. “Please, take a seat.”
WHAT? Jayde blinked quickly, an urge to run from the room filling her. He had been registered to be in the class but hadn’t been coming to it? She’d figured he was an exemplary student with how popular he was. Or maybe it was some dragon thing to miss at least a whole month of class… Ryuu was walking towards her, and she tensed, holding onto her desk. Why is he walking towards me?! Jayde thought desperately.
