"So....Son-in-law "stammered Mrs Crystals.

Damien was gazing at them with cold and angry eyes.

"You hurt my wife so bad she had I be admitted and yet here you are having dinner like nothing happened "he said.

"Mom, what is going on " asked their daughter.

"You. haven't told her, "said Damien. "how you almost killed Mila ". He raised from his seat.

Mila's mother felt her legs give away.

"It was you, wasn't it who sent them to attack her," he said.

"I...I don't know what you talking about " she said.

"Then why can't you look me in the eyes, "he said.

"I don't know what is going on but please leave my house," said her husband.

Damien scoffed.

"You were once a respected leader, how did you turn into her dog, "said Damien.

Mr.Crsystals gulped looking away.

"Guilt fools like yourselves can't look me in the eye cause of your sins. What will be your punishment?" he sighed.

"It wasn't...us...we were only following orders. I swear it wasn't us " cried Mrs.Crystals.

Damien frowned, his eyes looking down at them. her.

"Well then who might be, that told you to beat up your child or try to kill her, "he said sitting back.

"Your father, "said Mr Crystals.

Damien's eyebrow raised.

"Really, he did?"

She nodded, "It was him who gave me that kid to raise but there was something different about her "

"Give, raise. What do you mean?".

"That dark child isn't mine. I was only asked to look after her " she cried.

Damien got up.

"Is that why you have brutally been hurting her like that?" his voice was calm but she could sense the anger in it.

"Am sorry...I didn't realize she was your mate until I saw the mark on her "

He breathed.

"You will receive your punishment with your husband. And your daughter can stand back and watch " he said.

He turned walking away.

Mila heard something move and turned to see those five wolves. They were gawking at her with their large mouths open.

"Huh "she fell back. The ground was cold, she looked down, she was back in that forest and this time no one was there to save her.

"Please someone help "she cried.

They moved as he crawled back.

"I don't want to die like this " she cried..."Damien, Damien "

Damien looked up on the bed where Mila was sleeping to see tears flow down her face. He got closer.

"Mila "he called.

She was trembling crying in her sleep.

"D...Damien...Damien "she suddenly called.

"Am here, Mila? "he said.

She was crying now, still calling him.

He sat down picking her up, and he held her in his arms.

"Am here, Mila.... you safe? "he said.

Mila opened her eyes, feeling his warmth sip into her body.

His hand was on her back rubbing it soft.

"Damien "she called.

He pulled away meeting her teary eyes.

"Am here "he said wiping her tears.

She sniffed breathing," they they were back...and you were not there "

"It was a bad dream "he said hugging her again.

She breathed holding onto him.

"I was scared...that feeling was back again, cold, alone..." she cried.

"Am here with you, Mila .you don't need to anymore ".

She cried.

He pulled her away touching her blushed face.

"You don't have to be afraid anymore, am here".

She blinked as he bent down taking her lips. Mila froze up, as his lips pressed down in hers.

"You mine, so from now on I will protect you " he whispered.

"Yours?" she muttered.

"Mmm, they can all reject you but I won't " he said.

Mila's still tears fell, "You won't ".

He nodded, his hand gripping her neck pulling her to him away and kissing her. again.

She closed her eyes letting him kiss her. The softness, and warmth of his lips. The way they tasted, it was addictive and Mila held onto him kissing him back.

Her body was growing hot, and her face seemed to be burning but her lips sought more, and more of him. And he wasn't pulling back giving her all his attention. His soft caring lips played with her in a perfect union. The hotness of the inside of his mouth as their tongues met exchanging salvia.

She opened her mouth as they leaned back in the bed, his kisses grew longer and deeper.

Something inside her was shifting, breaking inside her and the more he kissed her the further it broke.
