Failure of a girl's love

Kate arrived at her husband's car and stepped in and communed with him, "she is Andrew's girlfriend but she left him at his new apartment."

Maine said, "my boy is growing big hey, so fast he moved out of his father's house into his own. I guess it is his woman who convinced him to move out. You want us to go see him now?"

Kate replied, "Yes, his girl is waiting for me, and we can simply walk to get him so that he can come with us to dinner."

Maine said, "leave Andrew alone for tonight. You will call him the other day as usual and schedule an appointment."

Kate replied, "you are right, but Noni says he is not well. I guess he had drank too much wine or whisky."

Maine said, "if his girl is happy to welcome you then let us go see Andrew first and see his welfare and see if we can lend them our hand."

Kate asked, "does his father know about his apartment?"

Maine replied, "you would find out about that when you see him. Speak to the girl and tell her to help prepare for our coming and give you the address of her location."

Kate came out of the car and walked to Noni but didn't get inside the car.

Noni opened the window for her and she spoke, "My love, I would be happy if you could just share with me your contact details so that we can call you before we come. For now, we are returning home, the kids are alone. You will prepare dinner for us and we will come and dine with you and Andrew will be fine. I know him; he is my son."

Noni said, "thank you."

She gave her contact details and the address of Andrew's apartment.

Kate said, "thank you, we are returning home now but we will call you before we come so that you can prepare for our coming." Noni, "alright ma'am no problem."

Kate left Noni and she closed the window and started to chat with her friend, India telling her about her shopping experience without Andrew. Kate returned to her car and they headed home.

Noni wrote saying, "guess what happened my love? Andrew gave me the whole of his heart before I could even ask him for it. I just wanted to get out and buy some groceries but he refused to come with me but gave me his bank card and his car. So I drove all the way to the shopping mall with his heart in me and bought all that I wanted and left what I didn't really need."

India replied, "that is Andrew that I know. His is not a stingy nor mean-spirited miser. He can give you as much as you need. What about paying your bills with his money? I heard you say, you were in arrears and about to be evicted from your apartment?"

Noni replied, "I didn't think about that my friend, but I will have to ask him first and I know he will give me if he has it and we are having dinner with his advisor's family tonight."

India asked, "who is his advisor's family now?"

Noni replied, "Kate and she seems very folksy and compassionate as I told her about Andrew's state of drunkenness."

India asked, "Wait, is Andrew not well?"

Noni replied, "not well at all and I am wondering what it is that he drank that made him so weak while I need him to work overtime on my body tonight."

India said, "I guess he doesn't drink high alcoholic liquor; can I come see him and also join you for dinner?"

Noni replied, "yes, and I will pass by your place to fetch you and will contact Gail to join us for dinner in her brother's apartment."

India said, "she will be happy even her father will be happy to see that his son has moved out of his mother's house and has a girlfriend to look after him.

Come take me please and I will help you with the dinner preparations."

As Noni started the car, she drove away from the parking spot in the mall towards India's apartment. She found her waiting at the bus stop and took her to Andrew's apartment. Along the way Noni started to adore Andrew's handsomeness.

She said, "His success is what makes me see the glory of Adam in the garden of Eden and I want to be his help. You would find Noni on his heart shelf.

It is my pleasure to be joined to the bone of my bones and flesh of his flesh."

India asked, "now you talk like God what is up with you? Did you call Gail and invite her for dinner?"

Noni replied, "I should call her but when Andrew gives me his consent to do so. The expression of my desire to help people will be evident at tonight's party. I see things beforehand and lend my hand. What keeps me up and down fighting is what my help understands, which is his love."

India said, "alright, then continue prophesying I am listening and I wish Andrew would hear this. I am turning on my voice recorder?"

Noni replied, "yes girl, record me."

They started to laugh but Noni's phone rang, it was Andrew calling and their plan was distracted so she answered the call, "my love did you manage to wake up? How are you feeling now?"

Andrew said, "the little bird told me you were not in the mall, but elsewhere, and the wind is blowing, so I'm forced to witness India with you. Tell me the truth, even if you are like Eve and had a bite of the tree of good and evil, I will be with you only if you follow my instructions. Where are you?"

Fear smote both Noni and India but she calmed him down, "you must be able to smell my presence and my absence and I am able to smell the wrong and right atmosphere around you. You are right now I can tell. I am on my way to you but I had to pass by India's apartment. So, you are right to say I am not shopping."

Andrew asked, "where is India?"

Noni replied, "she is with me; we are coming to prepare for a dinner and would love to invite your father. Again, I have met a woman who calls herself your advisor by the name of Kate. She approached me as she saw me driving your car. She would love to join us for dinner too."

Andrew said, "if you will be able to manage everything and everybody then I am alright. I will call my father and my sister. Leave them to me."

Andrew dropped the call and the moment of silence occurred in the car until they arrived at the apartment and took the groceries to the house. Andrew was bathing in the shower and they had packed the groceries in their places and were preparing dinner in the kitchen.

Andrew noticed that Noni was back and he wrapped the bottom of his body in a bath towel and headed to the kitchen to see Noni. As he entered, both Noni and India's eyes turned toward him with a smile and he greeted them. So Noni came to him and they walked to the bedroom leaving India in the Kitchen preparing the dinner. As they arrived in the bedroom, Noni told him about Kate and her wish to join them for dinner.

Then he called her, "My mother, I hope that you have met with my woman at the shopping mall and would be glad to host you tonight and offer you my hospitality."

Kate aked, "how are you now? I also heard that you are not well and your girl was very anxious about the state of your health?"

Andrew replied, "I am sober now, I was just drunk, nothing much to worry about." Kate, "I am happy to hear that. I will soon be on my way with my family to dine with yours in your newly-purchased apartment tonight. Make sure to call your father because my mother-in-law needs the love of her life."

They laughed at that and dropped the call. So Andrew called his father telling him about his new apartment and inviting him for dinner. Noni walked out to the kitchen to help India.

Andrew greeted saying, "Father, how are you this evening?"

Toni replied, "my son, where are you? Your sister has been asking if I had sent you somewhere or what?"

Andrew said, "I am in my newly-purchased apartment and would like you to join me for dinner tonight. Come with Gail."

Toni said, "Gail is in her bedroom doing her school work. I will go and tell her that you are calling us to eat with you."

Andrew asked, "are you in the garage?"

Toni replied, "but I am done and going to prepare myself for dinner. Where is the place; is it not far?"

Andrew said, "It's a twenty minutes drive from home to me."

Toni replied, "alright, I'm on my way."

Andrew dropped the call and walked to the bathroom. Toni also arrives in Gail's bedroom and finds her on the phone with Jane talking about school work but he didn't notice her. Gail hung up on the call and listened to her dad.

Toni said, "your brother is inviting us to come and eat dinner at his new apartment. Please prepare yourself. Right now, we're headed out."

Gail, "are you kidding dad? Andrew is supposed to be at dinner with Jane. Or maybe they are together. Alright dad, I'll get ready and make haste to come to you."

He walked out and Gail continued chatting to Jane. "Are you with my brother? Where is dinner going to be held? In your home or in my brother's apartment?"

Jane replied, "I am busy preparing dinner with my mom as I am talking. When did he move to his new apartment?"

Gail said, "I will find out when I meet him and he didn't even tell us that he was moving out so that we could celebrate him?"

Jane replied, "he is a busy man, it's nearly impossible to tell if Andrews is with another girl or not."

Gail asked, "Should we not come and take you to his apartment and we would take you back to your place? I don't know what is happening?"

Jane replied, "nope, you don't need to; he is your brother and I am his girlfriend. I should know everything about him beforehand. I guess someone has stolen him from me and I know it's Noni. She is the one who lusts for him every time he sees him."

Gail encouraged Jane, "but I need you next to my brother Jane, you shouldn't let Noni steal him from you. Noni doesn't love Andrew but only lusts for him and his money. She will ruin his life and abandon him when he is tasteless. I told her that my brother has a girl named Jane, she said she won't lust after him."

Jane replied, "Andrew promised to call me after work or later. I am still waiting for his call and will not chase after him because I told him my desires upon him and he promised to grant them."

Gail rebuked Jane, "you can't just give up like that. You should keep calling for his attention. My brother loves you but he is a man and when a man is enticed by another woman he lusts for her and his mind changes. But when you show up he will remember you. If you don't remind him of his promise, he will forget about you and you will be abandoned. Please remind him of his promise and hear from him."

Toni came into Gail's room and took his daughter to dinner with Andrew, his son. She dropped the call and they left for Andrew's house. Jane started to cry standing alone in the kitchen. At their arrival at Andrew's apartment, Andrew stepped out to welcome them, but found Kate seated with her mother-in-law and her husband.

So he brought them in and brought them to the table where they would dine.
