20 Moving on

Once she is back in her opulent sleeping chamber, Young Mistress An Guang sits on her rocking chair made from rosewoods with red-coloured velvet cushion on its surface. She closes her eyes as she gently rocks the chair with her 'qi' (energy flow).

Her four companions watch her as they each stand not far from her. In terms of beauty, they are indeed exquisite beauties themselves and, their admirers even thought that their beauties have surpassed that of their young mistress.

But, in truth, in their eyes, their young mistress is considered not only as their superior but, she is the precious younger sister as well. From their first meet, Young Mistress An Guang has provided them with nothing but the best in terms of food, clothing and place to stay. Even to this day, each of them is given a small courtyard each within this large main courtyard of hers.

Air Maiden Yangzi smiles and gently shakes her head towards Fire Maiden Lu Huo who then smiles before she no longer asks any further question. Water Maiden Yushui and Earth Maiden Diqiu look at Young Mistress An Guang who seems to be deep in her thought as she closes her eyes and gently rocks the rocking chair of hers.

That chair itself is handmade by the elusive Lightning Lord Lei Shanding while the red-velvet cushion is sewn by Spirit Mistress Jingshan. Both of them have come for a visit three days ago just to send this gift of theirs to Young Mistress An Guang.

Before leaving, they even contributed a fraction of their qi to her which resulted in that Young Mistress An Guang now has lightning and thunder attributes as well as spirit and cosmic attributes as well. Due to the special condition of her fully cleansed body, she is able to have multiple attributes in her body to a point where all of the attributes will be merged into a state of 'nothingness'. In this state, Young Mistress An Guang will be able to manipulate the nature, space and time at any given time. This is one achievement that no one other than those within the inner circle of Quanheng Sect knows about. It is a highly guided secret, and no one is allowed to talk about.

"Lu Huo... Am I wrong in running away from the Bao Residence?"

Fire Maiden Lu Huo smiles and answers, "An An, when you decided to leave then, you have made your decision. You are determined to end your 'life' as Eldest Miss Bao Baiyu once and for all. Earth Maiden Diqiu laughs and says, "Ancestor Zu has been doing his very best but he always involved An An in his shenanigans which, without fails, annoys Dark Lord An. Even the Dark Sorceress is one of your huge supporter ever since she has met you."

"After all, our An An was the one who happened to encounter her dark soul while she was roaming on her own... When she brought the Dark Sorceress back, Ancestor Zu immediately recognized the dark soul and immediately bawled like a baby." Water Maiden Yushui said as she fans Young Mistress An Guang.

"Yes, living in the Celestial Realm with everyone that really cares about me is nothing for me to regret my so-called decision then. I can only move onward so that I will continue to live a life that I wanted. I should never regret what is meant to be from the very beginning."

Air Maiden Yangzi smiles and says, "True. All of us are lucky and blessed to be here."

Young Mistress An Guang yawns before she jokingly says, "Of course... Only by being here that you gained a spirit beast as a 'husband', Yangzi."

"An An, Laohu is not my husband."

Fire Maiden Lu Huo then says, "What nonsense... You even have a cub with him. He is your 'husband', Yangzi. Living in the same courtyard... Sleeping on the same bed. Not my 'husband'... Pah!!!"

Young Mistress An Guang then says, "You girls are so lively... Go back to your own courtyard. I am going to rest here for a while I am enjoying the night breeze here."

Earth Maiden Diqiu then says, "An An, the air is quite cold here as it is facing the mountain area..."

"I will be fine, Diqiu. Yushui, please take a blanket and give it to me before you leave. Come back tomorrow morning at sunrise, everyone."

After Earth Maiden Diqiu took a thick blanket with its covers made out from pure golden-coloured silk with the inner part is filled with wool and goose-feathers, she gently laid it down on top of Young Mistress An Guang.

Once she is done, she walks towards the other three who stand behind the rocking chair before all four of them say in synchronization, "Young Mistress An, the four maidens will leave. Goodnight and has a sweet dream."

She closes her eyes once more before she softly murmurs, "My children... Please be reborn into a good and loving family where your parents will protect and love you."

Somewhere in the Heaven Realm, someone is sitting leisurely on a long stone bench and says, "Your children will be reborn again An An. But, this time around, they will have me as their father... Hohoho!"

His Right Chancellor who is standing next to him rolls his eyes before he says, "Heavenly Lord, what happens to your so-called seclusion?"
