BLACK DUST

I woke up the next day from the best sleep I had in years. For some unknown reason I felt as if the past few years had not happened and I was as energetic as the day I met Jason.

As I came to my senses, I felt someone's arm pull me closer to him.

I gasped as I realized who it could be.

"Jonah!" I hissed as I struggled to get out of his arms. "Jonah let me go!" I practically shouted, but it was no use, it seemed that the Alpha had no plans of releasing me from his arms.

'Just sleep, having our mate around is nice.' Ares purred in my head, making me roll my eyes at her in annoyance.

'You give in too easily.' I complained as I finally managed to get Jonah to let go.

'Would it hurt you to give in to the mate bond? He is our mate for a reason, he is there to protect us, to love us-' I cut Ares off before she could say anything else.
