6 Chapter 6

After telling the lady the room name who greets her in the restaurant. She got directed toward the room on the second floor, "Sorry aunty, I got stuck on something, hope you didn't wait too long for me."

"We just arrived as well." Said Feng Jiu. She noticed a boy with a messy clothes and dirty face behind her. The little boy was practically being pulled by Heng to join to the room, he has been trying to pull his hand with no avail as Heng is way stronger than him. She giggled seeing the comedic act, "Heng, what kind of trouble did you make?"

"Pfff." Heng evilly laughed remembering the scene and wave her hand, "Nothing really, just some wild dogs asking for some beating."

Feng Jiu lifted her eyebrow hearing her indifference answer. She then turned her gaze toward the boy who still standing behind Heng dropping his head down. "Who is he?"

"Oh right! He is wounded! Can we ask someone to come check his wound?" Asked Heng while putting her right hand in her forehead, "Oh, what is your name?"

Feng Jiu does not know if she should cry or laugh seeing her ignorance. She feels like she is a kidnapper ah! She smiled, "Young man, can you explain to me who you are and what happened to you?"

XIao Yi finally look up to the lady who has been sitting leisurely whiling embracing a little girl, "My name is Xiao Yi." He then narrated the story on how he got bullied until how Heng save him from their hands.

"Shameless!" Heng is so pissed listening to the story. Xiao Yi is an orphan who normally do odd jobs to keep living. Today after getting his hard earned salary, the two men followed him and tried to snatch his money. "I was careless today. These men have a powerful backing and that is why no one is brave enough to fight back with them." Said Xiao Yi gloomily. He truly was careless today, normally he will try to hide his presence and went back unnoticed but he was too tired after working continuously for two days without rest making him dropped his vigilance.

Feng Jiu inwardly sighed hearing this. Seems like she needs to scold her husband overlooking this issue! "With this case, you most probably cannot go back to where you live anymore. Xiao Mi take him to see a physicians, Xiao Mu find a ready made clothes for him to change. We will talk later once all is done."

"Now, let's eat first. Jiu Mei has been waiting for you." Said Feng Jiu after telling the waitress to bring the dish out. Jiu Mei who has been hiding in her mother embrace all this time finally pop her head out and smile to Heng, "Heng jiejie."

Heng using her hand telling Jiu Mei to sit on her lap instead. Jiu Mei happily move from her mother's embrace and hug Heng. Both happily hugging and playing together while waiting for the food to arrive.

Exactly after lunch, Xiao Yi is back with complete fresh clothes surprising both Heng and Feng Jiu. He looks handsome ah! Heng didn't notice it before but now seeing his thick eyebrows, stern eyes and sharp jaws, she can predict how handsome he will be when he grows up. Even Jiu Mei was blushing a bit looking at Xiao Yi making both Heng and Feng Jiu secretly giggling.

Suddenly, Xiao Yi dropped his whole body and start kowtowing to Heng, "Thank you for saving my life. Let me serve you to repay my gratitude." Heng face directly turned black seeing this manner. She read about this before how people in the old times kowtow for pretty much everything. But as a modern person, she really cannot accept this type of act ah! She forcefully pulled Xiao Yi and sternly scold him, "Get up now. If we want to talk then talk, sit properly. As a man, you should not easily bow down tsk."

"Even if it is not you, I will do the same thing. I did not actually saved your life as I am sure you can actually still run from them. Also, following me will only make your life even more difficult, I have no money nor place to live." Said Heng while patting his shoulder. She then look at Feng Jiu, "Aunty, do you have any suggestion? Can you help him find a place to stay and work?"

"Xiao Yi, if you agree you can start working in my manor and for now, all you need to do is to serve Heng. Do you agree with it?" Asked Feng Jiu. Thinking about it, Heng definitely needs someone to be by her side. She is strong but she is clueless how society works here. At least by this, she will not act too impulsively as she has another life next to her. She then added, "Heng I know you refused to have one before but you need someone who can guide you as long as you are here. When you leave, I will assigned Xiao Yi for another job."

Pondering about it, she by the end reluctantly agree with it. She can just treat him as his little tour guide. "Xiao Yi, before you decide I need to tell you my situation. I am not from here and currently I am staying in aunty manor. I have no money and I have no idea how long I will be here so whenever you feel that you want to change job directly tell aunty, I will not hold you back. If you still going to follow me, I only have two rules."

"Number one, do not call me with master, mistress or any other honorific. Call me Heng." Even though she use honorifics when she is in military but master is still over the top ah!

"Secondly, do not call yourself this slave. I see everyone as equal, there is no slave nor master. If you follow me, I will treat you as my little brother and you need to treat me as your big brother... or big sister."

When she sees Xiao Yi start moving to do another kowtow, she directly flick his forehead and said sternly, "If you agree, just nod your head or say you agree. Third rule, If you kowtow to me again, you don't need to follow me anymore." Seeing Xiao Yi nod his head and sit again, Heng satisfyingly nod her head.

"It is already pretty late so we should head back now." Said Feng Jiu.
