Yes! She's a little heartless as a girl

And the months just passed. The engagement between Cecile and Edwin had been carried out. Just waiting for next year to get married. Where that year Cecile will be exactly eighteen years old. The ideal girl age to start a family life for the Zeath tribe.

Cecile returned to being obedient as usual after the incident. But she had a little bit of happiness, where her father didn't restrain her as much as she used to. She was allowed to go out on condition that she did everything she did and not defame her father, who was the chief of the tribe.

This afternoon, Cecile plans to go to the wide meadow with Anne.

Anne said there were many wild flower plants that were very beautiful and unique. As a girl it is normal to like beauty. Of course Cecile is very curious and can't wait to pick some of them.

"Are you ready?" Exclaimed Anne from her front yard.

"Just a second!" Cecile shouted from inside.

She grabbed a basket and hurried out. Anne who saw her continued to flank her arm.

Then found the large horse carriage stopped just outside the fence. There was no symbol on the carriage, explaining it was not official. But seeing the outside design was familiar. Cecile could guess whose it is.

"He's coming!" Whispered Anne to her. The girl also certainly knew who the owner of the magnificent horse carriage was. Cecile heard it, just a faint smile. And didn't say anything after that.

A young man with dignity came down from there. Carrying an aura of dignity within him. Dressed in a casual brown color combined with white pants, he looked very comfortable on the eyes. His black hair was neatly parted, the contours of his face are very attractive when exposed to the afternoon breeze.

Cecile glanced at Anne and found her round black eyes sparkling brightly. Subconsciously her curved lips attracted a smile. Cecile felt pain for her. Even though Anne said she was willing, time sometimes worked slowly to adjust her choices.

Until now, Anne still loves Edwin and Cecile knows that.

"Good afternoon!" Said Edwin friendly. When he spoke it was like a calm breeze. Brings a sense of peace to the hearts of those who hear it.

"Afternoon!" Exclaimed Anne excitedly. She immediately hid the blush on both sides of her cheeks. Anne kept her feelings very tidy, barely giving anyone a chance to find out. Even though it hurts sometimes, Anne was used to it.

"What did you come here for?" Cecile impatiently asked. Dislike was clearly evident on her beautiful face.

Anne slightly knit her brows when she heard Cecile's question. Immediately she pinched the girl's arm. "Ouch!" Cecile grimaced and threw a complaining glance at Anne.

Edwin just smiled at the behavior of the two. He knew Cecile didn't like him. It was clear from Cecile's gaze when he saw it. He thought that love was only a matter of time and would form itself between them. But somehow until this second, no flowers had bloomed between them.

"Mr. Edwin forgive my cousin, she is a little annoying" Said Anne. Cecile glared at Anne as if she didn't like what she was saying. But Anne just ignored him.

"Yes! She's a little heartless as a girl"

"Pftt .." Hearing that, Anne couldn't help laughing. She never thought Edwin would come clean. Cecile only put on a look that cursed the two humans. Seeing that, Anne continued to close her lips, stopped laughing and Edwin only left a faint smile on his face.

"I felt bored and decided to take a walk. And happened to pass by seeing you guys who seemed to want to come somewhere. If possible let me take you there"

Actually Edwin was lying. Obviously he came because his mother told him to leave. His mother said he had to make an early approach with Cecile to get to know each other better. That way love will form naturally between the two.

"Oh of course you can! Isn't that so Cecile?" Anne kept nudging Cecile's arm who looked unhappy on the spot.

"No! This is a special trip for girls, men are prohibited from joining" Said Cecile straightforwardly. Lifting her face she gave Edwin a meaningful smile. "I hope you don't offend Mr Edwin"

Edwin felt awkward on the spot. Anne found it especially adorable to see a man, who usually seems well-groomed and organised, suddenly lose his cool and become nervous.

"Who said? We didn't make arrangements like that before. Mr. Edwin ignore her. Let's go!"

Cecile felt unhappy to see Anne who was not on her side. When she saw the two people leave and continued to ignore her, she felt angry at first.

But suddenly she found a reconciling view. Edwin and Anne walked hand in hand, almost like a couple who felt close to each other. The well-built man with perfect body proportions overshadowed the little girl below him.

Anne, who was wearing a brown dress with white under it, was like fate. They were united in colour. Not only that, her black hair was in a bun but it seemed compatible with Edwin's neat black hair.

Like that didn't they look like a destined couple? Pulling the corners of her lips, Cecile thought of doing something for the two of them. With that she decided to make peace and walk behind them.

Anne looked back and found Cecile who finally wanted to make peace with a sigh of relief in her heart. Then she was ready to lift her feet up to the top of the carriage.

But it turned out that the carriage was slightly taller and difficult to reach. Anne tried many times and kept failing. It caused several dots of sweat to appear around her face.

Seeing that Edwin generously offered to help. He crouched down and stretched out his hand gracefully to let Anne step on it. Seeing that, Anne was a little surprised.

"Come on let me help you" Said Edwin sounding sincere.

"Mr. Edwin..you told me to step on you, how can you?" Anne found herself on the verge of flying and wanted to scream how happy she was to have it. The words from her mouth may sound doubtful but her heart had been screaming from earlier how not she refused.

"Hurry up!" Exclaimed Cecile impatiently. She deliberately did this to urge Anne to accept Edwin's help.

"It's very late, we don't have much time. Let's hurry!" Cecile was increasingly urgent.

In the end, Anne lifted her leg and placed it very gently on Edwin's palm. She was very afraid that the sole of her shoe would hurt him. In this way Edwin exerted his strength to help Anne up.

Seeing that sight, Cecile couldn't hide the smile on her face. Didn't they look like a cute couple to each other?
