Chapter Seven

After lectures was over,i got a text saying i should meet him outside,I quickly bade my friends goodbye as i rushed outside just to see Lucas waiting for me with roses in his hands.

"For you." He handed the flowers to me immediately i got near.

"Thanks." I replied taking it,I took a big snift. "Its beautiful." I smiled at him.

"Lets go..i promise you're going to have the best time of your life." He said holding my hand as he led me towards his car, A black Maserati.

We stopped in front of a very fancy restaurants.

"Where is this place?" I asked as i stared at him.

"Just the beginning." He replied with a grin, as he helped me out of the car.

"Thanks." I mumbled. We made our way to the front where a man with a book was waiting.

"I made a reservation." Lucas replied his hand on my waist as he draws me close.

"Name please?." The man asked.

" Lucas Sanchez." Lucas replied,as the man strolled through the list.

"Please enter Mr Sanchez." He made way for us to enter as we mumbled a quiet 'Thank you.' Once inside a waitress directed us to our seat which was facing a lovely fountain.

"Nice view." I commented.

"What can i get you?" The waitress asked giving us the menu.

I looked through the menu, untill finally my eyes landed on one " I will have the sesame Chicken and pork fried rice."

"And i will have the stake and mushroom ." Lucas said looking at the waitress. She smiled mouthing the words "Be right back." Before leaving.

The decor of the restaurant was trully a sight to behold, the wall was painted red with beautiful chandelier above each glass table. This restaurant was definitely made with the rich in mind.

"You love it.?" Lucas asked.

"Yes." I replied with a smile. "Thanks for bringing me here."

"I should be the one thanking you." Lucas said,his eyebrow raise. "Thanks for agreeing to go on a date with me."

"So....what attracted you to me?." I asked, swirling my glass of wine.

"The first time you bumbed into me,i couldn't sleep."

"Sorry again for that,i got shoved." I said sadly. "But luckily my knight in shinning armor was there to hold me." I teased , He coughed trying to cover his laughter.

"Knight in shinning armor?" He asked with a proud smirk on his face. "I like that."

"So...why did you come to the music room?" I asked sipping from my glass of wine.

"Well....i came to play the piano." He said,his hands clamp together.

"Wait! You can play the piano?" My eyes was the shape of saucer as i stared at him.

He gave a nod. "You look surprise." He stated with a short laugh.

"Play something for me." My head pointing towards the grand piano in the middle of the room, bright light shinning down on it.

"Hmmm." He hummed. "On our second date." He said with a grin.

"You Sound confident." My eyebrow raise.

"That is because i am." He said with a smirk before drinking from his glass.

The waitress walked towards our table with a tray on her hand accompany by two other waitresses "Here is your food." The waitress said,placing the food on the table,the other waitresses doing the same. "Enjoy." She said,opening the food,her fellow worker brought out another bottle of wine and poured it into two glasses,one for me and the other for Lucas.

"I will be back with your dessert." She bowed and left,the rest behind her.

"Cheers." Lucas said holding his glass out.

"Cheers." I said clinking it. The wine was extraordinaire and it left a sweet taste at the tip of my tongue. "Best date ever."

"This is just the half of it." Lucas said with a grin before sipping his wine. "Lets eat."

The food was as delicious as it was expensive,as we ate we talked about different things,got to know each other and at the end of our meal. We were laughing. I found out things that i did not know and ones that i already knew like that Lucas is the second son to Mister Sanchez the Seventh most richest man in the city. But what i did not know was that his younger brother Carlos Sanchez was set to become the CEO of Sanchez Clothing inc, according to him he said his senior brother Damien Sanchez decided to open his own company. Sanchez Clothing inc, the third most sorted out cloth industry in New York the company makes different sort out clothes,some of which are in my wardrobe.

"What about you?" I asked.

"Me? I am just happy i don't have to stress about the company." He replied with a smile. "And you?"

"Just like you,am not interested in taking over my dad's company. My senior sister Charlotte is there to do just that." I said with a grimace when i remembered how tired my sister usually was or how she was never around because of company. Just then our desert arrived, they clear the table then placed a plate of vanilla strawberry ice cream in the middle with two spoons.

"Thanks." I said to the waitress who gave me a nod and a smile before attending to another customer. We both held our spoon taking full scope of ice cream. The blended flavours of Vanilla and strawberry felt like heaven on my tongue as i savour the taste, humming in delight to the ecstasy it brought. Lucas moaned in delight immediately the ice cream caress his tongue. Guess i wasn't the only one who loved the blended flavours.

After we were done,we paid then left the restaurant. Lucas driving to an unknown destination with smiles on his face.

"Where are we going?" I stared at him while he focus on the road.

"Some where you are going to love." He said his eyes not leaving the road.

"Come on. Tell me...i am dying to know." I said bouncing in my seat.

"All i can say is that you would love it. So seat back and relax." He said his eyes on me before going back to the road. I lay down on my seat looking out the window as Dido music played loudly.

My mouth was wide open as i looked at the fun park in front of me.

"You brought me to a park." I latched unto Lucas arm, staring at him with an excitement i could not contain.

"You seem happy." He stated with a smile.

"That is because i am." I answered giving him a peck to his cheek. "Thank you for bringing me here."

"If i had known bringing you here would make you this happy. Would have done that the time i saw you in the music room." Lucas said a hand to his cheek.

"Come on." I giggled dragging him as we made our way to the target area. Lucas laughter can be heard as he followed behind me.

The man in charge of the target stall gave us a warm smile before telling us the rule of the game. "So... You will pay ten box and get three arrows, The three arrows are three chance, a chance for you to hit the bulls eye and get any prize of your choice." He said ,his eyes on the different beautiful prizes that are hanging on his wall. "Sound easy right?" He asked with a grim.

My eyes was already on a cute pink teddy bear the size of a chid with golden bells round it neck. "Give me the arrows." I said handing him a ten dollar bill. He place the arrows on my hand with a bow then moved me like ten feet back.

I haven't shot an arrow before so i decided to do it the way i normaly saw in movie. I steadied my legs,placing the arrow in the middle of the bow and drawing it out, my one eye close as i focused on my target before releasing it. It hit the dashboard and i let out a groan, Movies made it look easy. Lucas gently rubbing my back, I am guessing his silent way of supporting me. I told him i needed to do this,though him doing it for me would be romantic i promised him after i must have won this one he can win for me he answered with a smile.

I made the sign of the cross before putting my second arrow into the bow, i let out a deep sign then released it.

"Damn!!" I grunted out,never knew it would me this hard.

"Last arrow." The man yelled with a smirk.

'I will show him.' I thought as I grabbed the last arrow. "God guide my hand." I said following David in the bible before releasing my last arrow,my eyes closed.

"Yeah!!" A voice which I believe to be Lucas cheered happily. I took a chance opening my eyes ,I let out a happy dance when I saw my arrow right in the red dot.

"Bullseye!!" I yelled making a fist bumb at the air. Guess third time really is a charm.

The man groan "Congrats." He faked a smile handing me my big pink teddy bear. I grabbed it,hugging it tightly to my chest, letting out a happy squeak.

Lucas then won me a lovely dophin, and i also won him a stuft penguin. We left the stall and made our way to a cotton candy truck. And now I and Lucas are happily munching on our cotton candy exchanging stares in between and sometimes just laughing when he catches me staring or I catch him.

"Where next?" He asked with a smile.
