The Rescue
Sean rushed to the end of the pier at full speed and looked down at the spot where Alexander and Trojan had fallen. All that remained were little bubbles where the two men had broken the water's surface.
As it was night time and there was no light, it was hard to see where Alexander and Trojan had gone.
Sean immediately tore off his shirt, his bulletproof vest, and his pants. He needed to get rid of anything restricting his body as quickly as possible. He then dived straight into the water like a missile while the other officers shone flashlights to provide some light and to see if they could spot the two men.
"Alexander Dupont," the officers yelled.
Under the water, it was silent. As Sean looked around, all he saw were streams of light hitting pure darkness. There was no one in sight.
