It took a while before Nina could calm down but she eventually did.
The feeling of Lucius hugging her didn't make her flustered or panic, instead it brought with it a strange sense of comfort and security.
With this new feeling of calm, Nina slowly entered a meditative state and began using practising her mana gathering technique:

The rate of gathering mana was nothing too special , just slightly faster than average, but for Nina, she may as well have been flying!
Remember, before now , Nina's magic talent had been piss poor.
For her, gathering man could only be done at snail pace so even slightly above average was rocket speed.
Lucius like see the clear change on Nina's face with her face snow showing a clear look of joy and he just smiled.
