A part of Lucius wanted to do nothing and accept her feelings as a smooth and reliable source of Love Points. But when he realised just how fragile this girl was and just how much she was beginning to rely on him. At this point, Lucius was starting to feel guilty.
How would such a fragile person react if she found out that he was a person who had worked with ulterior motives from the very start?
For a second, a look of hesitation appeared on Lucius's face before Lucius just sighed.
"Veronica… I have something to tell you." Said Lucius
"You know… from the very start, my intentions weren't entirely pure. In a way, it wasn't really to help you to serve my own goals. I feel like you should at least know this."
As Lucius said this, his eyes narrowed as his expression turned a little cold.
"This is the truth I've been trying to tell you. I'm really not as good a person as you make me out to be."
