Like that, a week had passed and the time of the arranged duel drew near.

In this past week Lucius wasn't idle, he had trained harshly and what also brought him a pleasant surprise was that with the development of his new talent and the addition of The High king's blood in his body, his strength and physique had directly entered into that of 3rd class fighter and his mana had also made similar growths.

The blood of the high king plus Alice's perfect healing at all times made it almost like he was doping.

Alice's healing meant he could be perfectly healed no matter how hard he pushed his body.

And the blood of the high king and dragon mixed together gave his physical body excellent potential, all he had to do was squeeze it all out.

So after several days of ardent fighting, Lucius could confidently say that he had squeezed out  enough potential that the previous him could now be dealt with easily
