Ogling at me?

Both Jesy and Dennis had not expected such action from Trevor, it was an action that showed he was angry, but why? She froze in place. The way Trevor suddenly slammed his hands on his desk was something Jesy could not fantom. She blinked her eyes at the fuming CEO with questions dancing around in her head.

Meanwhile, Dennis already scurried away from the office to carry out the order Trevor gave to him, he couldn't object any further, he wouldn't dare for his precious life.

Realizing his reaction, Trevor breathed in a good amount of air to calm his nerves, he never planned on slamming his hands on his table, he just wasn't patient. Trevor tugged the hem of his suit and cleared his throat to do away with the awkwardness.

"Have a seat, I'll have them bring you coffee while you wait."

Trevor said calmly while staring straight at the flabbergasted Jesy who nodded her head in reply. After he was sure that Jesy heard him, Trevor picked up the telephone and dialed in some numbers, the call went through and he said a few words to the person on the other line. The call ended and he went back to reading the documents on the table.

Jesy sat quietly on the couch, she decided it was better to just listen to the orders of the big boss. The stupid stunt she pulled earlier was enough, she couldn't afford to do anything that would cause her this one time chance.

The office was quiet and the only sound that could be heard was the flipping of papers and the rhythmic sound of fingers tapping on a keyboard. Ten minutes almost slide by when a knock was heard from the door, the door opened and the female secretary from before came in with a cup of coffee on a creamed coloured tray.

Jesy could not help herself from staring at the lady, she could not deny the fact that the woman was a beauty. Jesy awkwardly looked away from the woman with a slight smile when her eyes met with the woman's blue eyes.

The lady kept the tray with the coffee on the small table before Jesy, the lady gave Jesy a smile and bowed her head before walking out of the office and not even for once did Trevor bother raising his head to look in the direction of Jesy. He must really be occupied with his work, Jesy thought in her head before taking a sip of the Saint Helena coffee.

The Saint Helena coffee was one of the expensive, rare and good coffee in the world, but of course, Jesy lacked the knowledge in that aspect, she lived an ordinary life and couldn't afford such coffee. She might have heard about it or even know about it but this was the first time she was having a taste of it but she didn't know what kind of coffee was in her grasp, but the fact that the coffee taste good was something she could never deny.

Trevor who Jesy presumed to be busy was silently taking a sneak peek of her. His hazel eyes was staring unblinkingly at her and every of Jesy's facial reactions were seen by him without missing any of her movement. The way she sipped the coffee from time to time was magnificent in the eyes of Trevor. He looked at her thick dark hair that cascaded behind her back and he felt an urge to run his fingers on them.

Trevor looked away and continued with his paper work after minutes of staring at Jesy.

Jesy was continuously sipping the coffee, it tasted so good that she savored the taste as she sipped from it. She dropped the cup on the tray after a good number of sips and decided to look around the office. The office was of course spacious and had an excellent decor, it gave off the vibe of a typical office.

Jesy looked around until her gaze fell on Trevor. He was so immersed in what he was doing, he looked really cool and handsome and Jesy continued staring, admiring his good features that had half of them covered in his black mask.

Jesy was still staring when Trevor raised his head from the paper and turned to her direction. Both of their eyes met and everything became completely silent, no one spoke or made any movements. Time seemed to froze for the both of them until Trevor broke the awkward silence.

"Why are you staring?"

Trevor's unexpected question took Jesy by surprise. What kind of question was that. She blinked in confusion before replying.

"Weren't you also staring?"

Jesy shot back her question, she looked at him with her eyebrows raised in finality.

"You stared first, I only stared back out of instinct. Care to explain why you were ogling at me?"

This time around, Trevor dropped the paper on his hands and rested his back on his office chair as he interrogated Jesy with accusing eyes.
