The house was quiet when Jesy entered. It seems that Lexi was still in the hospital, that one was even good, now she could have the whole house to herself and nobody would disturb her good time alone.
She walked into her bedroom and shut the door behind her. Once inside her room, she started taking off the suit, it wasn't hers but belonged to the person who took her virginity without her knowledge.
She removed everything and threw them to a corner, she would surely throw them away into the trash bin, she was sure the suit was expensive, judging from the texture of the material.
Jesy looked down at her own body and sighed. That was it? She just lost her innocence and she was behaving not so normal about it. Wasn't she supposed to wail, cry and curse at the person or even report to the police? Her body was in a different shade of bruised colours and she was feeling sore down below her torso.
She decided it was better to soak herself in a bathtub with all sorts of germs remover soap. She wanted to wash herself clean.
Jesy spent almost two hours inside the bathtub until she reluctantly came out. Her stomach was singing the national anthem and it was annoying and added to her silent frustration.
With her birth suit, she walked to her wardrobe to look for what to wear, something warm and cozy with a soft cotton material.
But as she kept looking for what to wear, her head dinged something, a reminder.
Oh no!
Jesy's eyes rounded in shock as she suddenly remembered her initial schedule for today. She shut back the wardrobe and ran to her nightstand for her phone but it wasn't there. She ran to her dressing table but did not find it there either, she checked the bed and everywhere around the room but still did not find her phone anywhere around the room.
She forgot her phone inside her car and it was parked somewhere. She remembered the call she received yesterday when she was at the Rusack Vineyard, it was the same call that made her go to the bar in the first place.
She remembered everything the person said.
Jesy had long heard about High Life Entertainment Company, that was her dream company, a place she wanted to work in. When she heard about the recruiting audition that was going to be held, she quickly went for it. They were auditioning newbies that would be recruited for a new movie, although they did not convey too much information about it.
After the audition, they were told that they would be informed about the results. And Jesy was called yesterday and unfortunately, she wasn't among the newbies that were recruited. It was strange because Jesy could very well recall the satisfied look on the judges during her audition and she was very sure she would get a good result.
She was told by the same person that a meeting was being held and she was to attend. But why? She wasn't even among the people selected, so why were they saying she should attend the meeting? Was it to gloat at her misfortune?
But, whatever the reason was, Jesy knew she was already late for the meeting. With every type of speed in her body, she ran to and fro her room to get prepared, overlooking her aching body.
Few minutes later, she was prepared and ready to leave but her phone wasn't with her and her car was not close by either. This indeed was the worse day of her life.
With a frustrated look, she walked to the vanity table and pulled the drawer, rummaging through it, she found little change she could use as transportation, she could go by a taxi and trek back home, that was good enough and by far better than trekking to and fro.
Due to the hideous marks on her body, she had to wear a turtle neck top to cover the marks to save her a face. She wore a short skirt, it's length was in the middle of her thigh, just above her knees. She wore white sneakers and combed her hair without packing it.
And she left the house.

High Life Entertainment
In the toppest floor of the high building was the office of the CEO, a very expansive and luxurious office that was singing the sweet melody of wealth, it had a huge window overlooking the city.
Two people were busy inside the office, one sat on the expensive office chair with his eyes moving around the laptop before him and the other stood beside him with his reading glasses on.
"The newbies have all arrived and are waiting for you."
Dennis said as he worked his fingers meticulously on the tablet he held in his hands.
"Waiting for me? Why do I have to be the one addressing them? Do it yourself, am busy."
Trevor said, he typed so fast on the keyboard, his eyebrows frowned in concentration as he narrowed his hazel eyes on the laptop without blinking.
"Yes boss and as you said, we invited all the participants of the audition, both the ones that weren't recruited."
Dennis answered, he didn't for once objected to his boss, he was Trevor's assistant and had been working for him ever since Trevor was crowned the new CEO of their company.
"Good. About the movie project, only the recruited newbies would be accepted for it, as for the ones rejected, they may be used as minor characters or substitute if they are willing to, the ongoing series under Director Jeff will be needing them and make sure to compensate them. The accepted newbies would sign the contract and make sure it's ready on time, no nonsense would be tolerated, make sure to inform them about the consequences of breaching of contracts before they accept and make sure….."
As Trevor gave his orders, Dennis felt like rolling his eyes upwards. If he knew so much, then it would be better if he just did everything himself. With the way Trevor was ordering him on what he was to do even when it wasn't necessary, Dennis felt like he was incompetent.
With Trevor rambling on and on, Dennis wondered how he could talk so much and still concentrate on what he was doing. Dennis quietly pulled out his ear pods and placed them in in ears, quietly listening to his favourite song in his playlist, totally ignoring his boss.
