While the elevator was moving, Jesy was silently counting the from number one and was currently in number two hundred, patiently waiting for the elevator to open. She was yet to realize that the elevator was going up instead of going down as she had thought.
The bodyguard had initially planned to throw Jesy out of the company's building under the silent order of Dennis but when he was about entering the elevator, he suddenly received another order from the CEO through the communication device in his ear to bring the lady up to his office and without saying anything, he made the elevator take them to the toppest floor where the CEO's office was.
CEO's Office.
Dennis jaws mercilessly dropped to the floor, he was flabbergasted when he heard Trevor telling the bodyguard to bring the crazy woman into his office.
Dennis was beginning to question if something was wrong with Trevor by chance. He was acting funny lately.
Before the meeting was held, Trevor had concluded that he would not attend the meeting but after Trevor went through the profiles of the newbies, he suddenly changed his mind without any solid reason. What was even more annoying was that Trevor attended the meeting and did nothing apart from sitting quietly on a chair and was staring at every one of them with his cold gaze that made the newbies uncomfortable.
Dennis had thought Trevor changed his mind because he wanted to address the meeting himself but Trevor surprised him by saying he only wanted to be present in the meeting and nothing else.
And now, Trevor was asking for the crazy woman to be brought here, even after her behaviour. If Trevor wasn't his boss, Dennis was sure that he would have given him a blow to maybe do some manual reset to his brain.
"But sir, why are you suddenly inviting the woman here? You saw the way she behaved even after she was late."
Dennis could not hold back himself, he took two steps closer to Trevor's table. His glasses rather made his feminine features more glaring. Trevor raised his head and looked at his pretty assistant.
"Didn't you watch the audition video yourself? You saw how good she was, right? We can't afford to lose such talent."
After Trevor went through the profile of the newbies, he was curious about why Jesy Anthony was rejected and he asked for the footage of the audition and he was beyond shocked to see how good she was although the sound wasn't playing in the background. Dennis was also surprised and he wondered why she was rejected when she performed so well in the audition.
"Are you saying we are going to accept her into this company? She has no proper behaviour."
Still, Dennis could not agree despite how good she was, he still protested. He was about to continue with his complains but the look Trevor gave him made his mouth to automatically seal up.
"I hope you are not questioning my decision?"
Trevor asked in a threateningly calm voice, his eyebrows were raised in question as his hazel eyes matched with that of Dennis's eyes.
"No sir,"
Dennis raised his white flag in defeat. How could he dare to challenge his boss? He didn't have a death wish just yet, he was still very young to die just yet.

Jesy widened her eyes in surprise when she saw they were in another floor after the elevator opened. This doesn't look anything like the reception office she came in through. Was this another way out? She looked at the fierce sideview of the bodyguard with a puzzeled gaze.
"Excuse me, where are we going? This doesn't look like the way out?"
She said to the bodyguard but got no reply from him. She blinked as invisible question marks popped up on her head but she decided to just stay silent and follow him, who knows, this might just be another way out of the company's building.
Jesy let out a slight sigh with hopes of leaving this place as fast as possible. She needed to go home and have a deep thinking and make a plan about what company would be her next try, but before that, she'd also need to get a good nap time too.
This was the month of August, the year was almost coming to an end and Jesy didn't want the year to completely end without accomplishing anything. She hope to make an achievement before this year draws to an end. But her little hope was dashed to pieces and left shattered when she was directed towards a door by a lady she already guessed was a secretary.
The tiny rays of delightful hope dimmed when she saw the inscription written on the door, it wrote "CEO" and that word was enough to cause her a loud heartbeat.
Why were they suddenly bringing her to the office of the CEO? Was she going to be queried for being late? How absurd! She wasn't even going to work under them, so what the hell?!
Jesy looked at the secretary who smiled back at her, she gulped as she watched the secretary open the door to the office and walked inside, leaving her outside to start thinking of possible theories of why she was brought here.
She was still making guesses in her head when the door opened again and the secretary gestured for her to enter inside. Jesy nodded her head in reply and took in several deep breaths to stable her mind for what might happen next.
With every courage she could summon up, She walked closer and looked at the metallic luxurious door before her and raised her hands to open it but before she could get a hold of the doorknob, she heard a clicking sound and the door suddenly opened, on it's own.
Jesy blinked as bewilderment were evident in her face, she made a silent oh sound and stepped into the office. Jesy was awed at how luxurious and spacious it was and the smell around the office that waft her nostrils the moment she stepped in, her eyes scanned around the office and moved from one thing to the other as she kept praising each and every thing her eyes graced but she almost got a severe heart attack when her gaze landed on an hazel eyes.
Jesy almost let out a scream when she saw the person sitting behind the expensive office table, scrutinizing her with his deep gaze. In an instant stare, she quickly recognized him but what the hell was he doing here? Wait…
Oh no!
