Almighty Dinah Rex.

The sound of soft music playing in the background made the place to be filled with a relaxing vibe, that was the one thing Dinah enjoyed. A very serene environment with her favourite playlist booming to her satisfaction.

She was currently sitting on a chair under a wide umbrella, from where she sat, she could clearly see the magnificent blue pool that was wide and could accommodate a huge number of people. Dinah sipped from her glass of wine and sighed in satisfaction.

This was the kind of life she lived and enjoyed ever since she gained her recognition in the entertainment industry. Lot of companies sorted out for her but she would sometimes turn them down and some, she would reply to them. She loved the kind of life she was living and didn't want to loose it, so she worked harder even though her bank account kept pumping up with more money.

The longer she gained fame and wealth, the longer her arrogance grew. It was not a new thing to those who were familiar with the entertainment industry and how things were. They knew of the very popular Dinah Rex who was capable of causing a hot stir wherever she went and a huge sensation in the media net. This, every medis house wanted to have her news published by them because of the engagement from the netizens.

Other younger artists avoided her like a plaque, getting on Dinah's bad book was the last thing they'll ever want. However, even if they avoided her, she never fails to provoke whoever she wanted and got away with it, that was how disastrous she can be.

Apart from the beautiful large pool. A white Villa was situated in a corner just beside the pool. The villa was owned by Dinah. This was just the tip of the iceberg, there was many more.

"So, how's my schedule going? Anything new?"

Dinah leisurely spat out as looked up at her assistant Mavis, standing beside her, holding a tablet. Dinah was the Female lead of the ongoing movie directed by Director Jeff. The shooting of the movie was paused, the reason was because the extras for a particular scene was still being arranged by the company.

Another privilege enjoyed by Dinah Rex was, she was never given a scene of a side character or second lead. She was always given the role of the female lead. She was beautiful, her acting skills were perfect and she had just the right amount of Fame that could make a movie sell. That was her wonderful prowess.

Every movie she starred in always had a good amount of sales and that was why no movie director wanted to miss a chance of having her in their movies. She was perfect and that was exactly what they wanted, nobody would want to invest on something that wouldn't be fruitful.

"As of now, you have a free schedule."

Mavis, her assistant replied in a very professional manner. Mavis looked older and was a pretty lady on a loose gray pantsuit and a three pieces suit jacket. She looked very experienced in her mannerism, from her eyes, one could tell she was a very patient person.

"Free? I hear there's a new movie project, when will they give me a call? Do they honestly want a late business or I should go remind them first? Unbelievable."

Dinah spoke in irritation and gulped down a huge amount of wine and sorted for another flute to gulp down.

"Actually, from the look of things, I don't think you'll be involved in this new movie project."

Mavis relaid the information, she bent down a little bit low and replaced the empty bottle of wine with another filled one that was beside Dinah's chair.

"What are you saying? If I don't get a role, no. If I don't get the female lead role, who would it be given to?"

This time, she sat up and looked at Mavis as if she was looking at the most foolish thing in the world. She tugged at the loose strand of her brown hair behind her ears, it was getting on her face due to the cool wind.

"I don't really know. But I think there's a newbie they have their eyes on. I hear they want to invest on the newbies for this movie this time and won't let the older artists get involved except if need be."

Mavis said and bowed in a respectful manner. She too was surprised when she found out that Dinah wouldn't be involved in the new movie project. She thought the company worshipped Dinah like a goddess since they would give any promising movie to her as the female lead, that was the only thing annoying about High Life Entertainment, they would rather invest on older and popular artists and leave the newbies to work harder by themselves till they got to the top, being famous and rich wasn't an easy fit in High Life Entertainment but the people outside didn't know about that.

Dinah was obviously pissed at this sudden news. This was new, she never experienced such things since she started working in High Life for the past six years. She was confused and thought what might be the reason, it never crossed her mind that it was the lovestruck masked CEO who suddenly changed things just so he could secure his wife.

Dinah gulped down another round and stood up, facing Mavis, she pointed.

"Find out who might be the newbie that would get the female lead role, am curious to know the kind of person that would replace me. Don't waste time."

Dinah spat, the rich smell of the wine she drank waft Mavis's nose because Dinah stood close. After receiving orders from Dinah, she bowed her head and left but she was thinking how on earth would she find out about such confidential information, Mavis was sure the company would keep this kind of information tight lipped. However, her boss had given an order and she would have to go to the end of the world to carry out the orders. That was how complicating it was to work with the almighty Dinah Rex.
